Ephesians 4:3-6 (esv)

3 eager to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace. 4 There is one body and one Spirit—just as you were called to the one hope that belongs to your call— 5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.

Eager to maintain unity

Eager

This word is active..

1 Peter 3:8  (ESV)

8 Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Maintain

We are prisoners all of us who believe to the Lord. We have all surrendered to Him. So we maintain the oneness in which Christ prayed for.

Spirit of cooperation..

Spirit in the bond of peace

This bond of peace is compassion, which means to suffer with.

Martin Lloyd Jones once wrote that truth should never be sacrificed for the sake of unity.

Since there is only one Jesus there can only be one us.

This is all one hope In Jesus.. in who we are called to live for sacrificially

One Lord

kurios. It means a compassionate, caring ruler and master.

Supremacy we are his prisoners..

One Faith

We know very well that we are not set right with God by rule-keeping but only through personal faith in Jesus Christ. How do we know? We tried it—and we had the best system of rules the world has ever seen! Convinced that no human being can please God by self-improvement, we believed in Jesus as the Messiah so that we might be set right before God by trusting in the Messiah, not by trying to be good.

One Baptism

One God, Father of All

6 Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.If we realize we have one father we realize we have one family in which we are all brothers and sisters.

God the father who is over all through all and in all

Nothings impossible 4 him,, nothings bigger than him he is not overworked, he has grace, he is complete justice. He is the final answer.

So lets walk together and get fit..

Our unity does not come from belonging to the same church, we do not manufacture our unity, it is from the Holy Spirit

A gift. Our oneness and unity comes from being made right with God through the blood of Christ.
