If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. And if I have prophetic powers, and understand all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but have not love, I am nothing. If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, but have not love, I gain nothing.
You and I can be gifted beyond reason, but if we do not possess love, the gifts are meaningless.
Who cares if you are gifted if no one wants to be around you.
That is the image of the ruthless CEO who has done whatever it takes to get to the top to only realize that when he is there, he is alone.

Love is patient and kind; love does not envy or boast; it is not arrogant or rude. It does not insist on its own way; it is not irritable or resentful; it does not rejoice at wrongdoing, but rejoices with the truth. Love bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
Kindness: If you are not kind, your gifts are irrelevant. If you are not patent: Your talent will be undone
Love does not envy. nor does it boast!
It is humble and it honors others.
Love can also be hard.
Better is open rebuke than hidden love.
Just because someone is offended by what you say that doesn’t mean you are being unkind towards them. Sometimes the kindest thing you can do is to tell someone they are wrong.
You my friends it often thought that the opposite of love is hate, but it isn’t hate. It is indifference. It is saying its their life i don’t care enough to share hard truth.
The Enemy's goal so often is get you an I into a place of indifference towards someone.
The world today cannot handle love. True love, they cannot stand it. They want their cookie cutter hallmark love that leaves only good feelings.
But that love is hallow and fleeting. It is a shadow of true love.

Talents, and treasure here on earth will fade, but love will remain.
Love never ends. As for prophecies, they will pass away; as for tongues, they will cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when the perfect comes, the partial will pass away. When I was a child, I spoke like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I gave up childish ways. For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I have been fully known.
