Are You Wheat

1.This Matthew 13 text teaches talks and tells us about several topics concerning sowing and reaping. From verse 1-23 Jesus gives a parable about sowing seeds in different types of soil environments and related it metaphorically to mankind in real life experiences .

2. Where our concentration is will come from is in Matthew 13:24-30 concerning the infiltration of good intertwined with evil… Yes in deed.

3. Jesus gave another parable that denoted and depicted sowing mustard seed and reaping and great foundational strength.

4. The Jesus put forth another parable in 33-35 about leaven and hiding leaven in a lump of meal. And usually leaven means sin but in this case it indicates righteousness.

5. And then all the way to verse 52 Jesus is giving doctrines in parables and short liner phrases like Solomon in proverbs. And he also explains the parable of the wheat and the tares So Let’s go right into the Parable of the Wheat and the tares

If I had to title this teaching pericamy it would be called “Are you wheat”

Matthew 13:24  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

Vs 37 He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man; God has been sowing good seeds in our lives. Only the devil sows bad seeds. 38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; Good seeds in the Greek vernacular is the word Sperio “Spay-row” it carry's the idea of extending and to scatter listen now literally of figuratively. Sperio It’s our choice sow good or bad

Vs 25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way. Verse 38 in the b Clause says “but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; The devil comes but to steal kill and destroy Listen 3x

Satan came and messed everything up and then left.... (READ) Vs 25 again

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also. Trouble and bad weeds just show up!!!!

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares? Master we saw your work ethics we saw your commitment, we saw your dedication, aspiration and inspiration You always on your job!!! But where this this mess come from?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. Oh Oh Oh an enemy has done this. At least the text is not saying that it was a supposed to be friend that talk two sides of their mouth. No No No you got give Satan credit at least Satan wants you too know that he did it. Most church people throw bricks and hide their hands. But God sees everything....

And so the text goes on and says The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up? Now that’s when you got brothers and sisters that’s got your back..When people who got your back see that somebody has done evil to you and they sit back and just watch… They are just as guilty and the evil person doing you evil. But when you’ve got brothers that say Rev we got your back 100% you our pastor.

The servants said unto him, wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

In other words now that we fully know the extent of the wicked plot, now that we know the elaborate scheme, and now that we know the sinister scenario “Do you want us to go an handle up on them”? Oh Oh Oh we know they guilty and we’ve got the evidence to prove it.. Jesus just say the word and I’ll be like a pit bull down on them… Boy in the flesh that just feels good to say.. Hah aha hah! But Jesus said be wise as a serpent but harmless as a dove.

And in this text Jesus says

in Matthew 13:29  But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them. One thing I know from pastoring in White Castle, in Gonzales, in Port Allen, and recently now in Paincourtville is that everybody kin some how. They kin!!! And if you go and root out this one, it’s going to affect that one… Laughhhhhh Man everybody kin… And I asked the Lord why you sent me to places like that. And the Lord answered me with two things.

1. Because I wanted to, and I’m sovereign I can do what I want when I want how I want and to whomever I want so Hush Up!

2. I wanted this too happen to you Because

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: Let me help some young preachers and remind some of older veterans The congregation is God’s people. They are not mine. I just watch for their souls, but I don’t get to determine who goes to heaven and who goes to hell. Because If mankind had the ability to determine who goes to heaven’s gates and who St Peter let’s in… Then a whole lot of us wouldn’t make it in..... And by the way St. peter ain’t letting you in the gates of Heaven. Only God in the personality of Jesus Christ will be able to let you in. Because it’s only when God the Father sees God the Son’s blood covering your life that you’ll be able to get in to Heaven.

Then the text goes on to say in verse 30 “and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: Wait nah Jesus fully explained the consequences of bad behavior

Vs 39 says “the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels. 40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world. 41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity; 42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Brothers and sisters, It is appointed unto man once to die and after that the judgement. It won’t take but a milla second for God to judge you.And may the work I’ve done speak for me. Nobody will be able to stand for you. And I don’t care how many of you collaborated together to do right or wrong, you all will stand alone. oo ooo oo wee.. Somebody right now wishing that they were Catholic and the priests can get your money or your indulgences and buy you back our of purgatory But in real time in real life nobody man can ever be the judge in God’s place Only Jesus Christ the Messiah our Lord and our savior can deliver us from the pits of hell. That’s an eschatological moment. You want to know what the end will be like, well I just gave the truth. You can’t cut up and carry on in this life and then when you die some priest can petition God’s throne to get you out of a hellish place. God is the Righteous Judge. And I wouldn’t play church politics with MY SOUL for nobody. In fact it’s childish and reckless because your soul has to spend eternity somewhere! Your Spirit automatically goes back to God. But your soul goes wherever you have sent it to.

I’m almost through The last part of the text says Matthew 13:30“but gather the wheat into my barn.” lastly verse 43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father.

Brothers and sisters that’s why I try not to purposely do anybody any harm. There are three up in heaven keeping record The Father The Word and the Spirit and these three are One.
