When my son Jacob was just a baby still, Nos mudamos a SO. ILLINOIS
He would have these almost seizure-like (convulsiones), reactions every time he ate something with certain colors added in As he got older, they would come less frequently
I remember a scenario, We were waiting for some monetary compensation I was awarded Yadi & I were just making it by with the bills etc.
I remember getting a call from my sister That our case had been won. So, immediately I contacted the attorney. He informed me that indeed we had won and my compensation was there waiting for me.
Immediately my heart and mind were filled with extreme joy Do you know what I mean?
Have You ever been filled with that kind of unexplainable joy?
What if you found out you had the winning lottery numbers To millions of dollars? Well, that’s what I felt, Pero fue de corta duración.
I could barely contain my fingers from jolting with joy while dialing Yadi to tell Her the good news,
She answered with a somber tone Before she could tell me anything, I let the good news rip
But she didn’t seem to react as happy as I was So I asked, What's wrong?
She told me that Jacob had just had another episode
Immediately my heart sank into my stomach At that moment I could have been Carlos Slim or Bill Gates rich
And I wouldn’t have even cared.
The sadness that the news brought me was incomparable to the Joy I had just experienced.
At that moment, you could have told me I was the new owner of Amazon and I wouldn’t have cared.

You see when you find yourself in trouble

I mean real trouble, there’s nothing in the “World” That can make that terrible feeling go away The only hope you have at that moment of bad news is Jesus!
The Bible calls this Tribulation
I’m speaking about when you find yourself in that moment of Darkness,
When all that you had ever enjoyed no longer pleases you
At that moment, you have real troubles
At that moment, you can have the entire world, but be bankrupt of Joy & Happiness
The only one you have in those times is Jesus

But you know what I have learned about troubles?

They don't last! amen amen
That's a good thing because some of us have been going through / are currently going through some terrible dark times right now
But, be of good cheer, because, the one that never leaves you, nor forsakes you, He Will be with you Always, even to the ends of the earth. Amen
In the Book of Jeremiah, we are told of a period of time that
is called the Tiempo de angustia de Jacob
Jacob is the nation of Israel
where the situation will be very very dark, and terrible & sad
But the Lord will not allow the trouble to last
Jeremiah 30:7
(Spanish)
“En toda la historia nunca ha habido un tiempo de terror como este. Será un tiempo de angustia para mi pueblo Israel. ¡Pero al final será salvo!”
“Alas! For that day is great,
So that none is like it;
And it is the time of Jacob’s trouble,
But he shall be saved out of it.
Jeremiah 30:17
(Spanish)
“Te devolveré la salud y sanaré tus heridas —dice el Señor—, aunque te llamen desechada, es decir, “Jerusalén, de quien nadie se interesa”».”
“For I will restore health to you
And heal you of your wounds,’ says the LORD,

Years ago, around the beginning of my ministry,

I found myself In one of these times of trouble.
I was in a dark place, and I want you all to know The “World” and all its pleasures failed me.
Many famous people of the world who seemingly had it all Ended their own lives because they couldn’t weather the troubles
Thanks be to God, I knew about Jesus and His promise
I was able to weather through that season of trouble in my life But only because I had Jesus,
Or I should say, Jesus had me! Amen!
You see many people who count on the “World” to relieve them of their troubles often find out that the more they try to relieve their troubles from the world, they Fall deeper into the troubles and darkness. IE: abusing Alcohol, drugs, sex, etc…
When I found myself in this type of tribulation I knew that Jesus was my only way out of it
Even when the devil came to me and tried to convince me to try something else when I felt like God wasn’t helping or relieving Me,
I cried out like Peter to the Lord “Where shall I go Lord, for you have the words of eternal life
In the Gospel of John, we are told that when the people were confronted with a hard situation about what they had been asked to believe, many turned away from the answer that was staring at them In the face,
Jesus, Ha Mashiach Nagid,
John 6:60–68 (CSB)
(English)
60 Therefore, when many of his disciples heard this, they said, “This teaching is hard. Who can accept it?”
61 Jesus, knowing in himself that his disciples were grumbling about this, asked them, “Does this offend you? 62 Then what if you were to observe the Son of Man ascending to where he was before? 63 The Spirit is the one who gives life. The flesh doesn’t help at all. The words that I have spoken to you are spirit and are life. 64 But there are some among you who don’t believe.” (For Jesus knew from the beginning those who did not believe and the one who would betray him.) 65 He said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted to him by the Father.”
66 From that moment many of his disciples turned back and no longer accompanied him. 67 So Jesus said to the Twelve, “You don’t want to go away too, do you?”
68 Simon Peter answered, “Lord, to whom will we go? You have the words of eternal life.

So, I ask all of us in here today, and all of you watching

Who currently find yourself in these times of tribulations “Where else can you go, for Jesus has the words of eternal Life”
Alcohol can’t make the troubles go away,
Drugs will only make the tribulations even worse,
Avoiding the issue will likewise keep you Bound to the tribulations/ troubles you find yourself in
Your only hope and surety is
“En el Verbo que se hizo carne, y habitó entre nosotros, se llama Jesus”
‭‭Juan‬ ‭1:14‬ ‭LBLA‬‬
“English,” (in the words that became flesh and dwells among us, Jesus. )

Jesus knows your pain and suffering

He was here & he went through it himself He even said in
‭‭Juan‬ ‭16:33‬ ‭NTV‬‬

Your times in this “Angustia” distress are not forever!

There is hope,
Hope in Jesus that He would quickly bring you peace again. There is nothing in this world that can hold power over you unless “You” allow it. There is Victory in Jesus
He beat (Ganó sobre el mal en la cruz), the evil on the cross.
Llevó nuestras debilidades y pecados en la cruz., (He bore our weaknesses and sins on the cross.)
He bore the sins of those that cause you tribulation on the cross.
Jesus Loves you and this I know, for the Bible tells me so!
Like my dear mother always saysYour time of peace is coming”,
just hang onto the words of Jesus and you will be set free from the bondage you feel right now
Or free from your troubles whatever they are.,
For those whom the Son sets free is free indeed
Juan 8:36
“Así que, si el Hijo os hace libres, seréis realmente libres.”
John 8:36 (CSB)
36 So if the Son sets you free, you really will be free.
In closing: In Genesis, we read how Jacob wrestled with God.
Realize the major point in that story… Jacob would NOT let go of the Angel of the Lord until He blessed him.
If you find yourself in turmoil for whatever reason, You grab onto Jesus, and you don’t let go until He blesses you with peace! And that peace passes all understanding.
‭‭Filipenses‬ ‭4:6-7
“No se preocupen por nada; en cambio, oren por todo. Díganle a Dios lo que necesitan y denle gracias por todo lo que él ha hecho. Así experimentarán la paz de Dios, que supera todo lo que podemos entender. La paz de Dios cuidará su corazón y su mente mientras vivan en Cristo Jesús.”
‬ ‭Philippians 4:6–7 (CSB)
6 Don’t worry about anything, but in everything, through prayer and petition with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Amen!!!
