Sickness and disease have been a condition of humankind ever since the separation of man from God in the Garden of Eden. The Bible refers to 39 different types of diseases that afflicted mankind. One for every stripe that Jesus had upon his body on that hill called Calvary. In the Old Testament Jewish law gave very specific rules regarding what was termed as the Unclean. They were the outcast, the downtrodden, the hopeless and the unworthy. But as the blood flowed from every stripe Jesus changed the narrative of our sufferings.
