Strength in prayer. Strength and Power
Ephesians 3:14 (ESV)
14 For this reason I bow my knees before the Father
For this reason,
Ephesians 3:11-13 (ESV)
11 This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, 12 in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. 13 So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory.
Boldly access God with confidence
Hebrews 4:16 (ESV)
16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

Luke 18:11-13 (ESV)
11 The Pharisee, standing by himself, prayed thus: ‘God, I thank you that I am not like other men, extortioners, unjust, adulterers, or even like this tax collector. 12 I fast twice a week; I give tithes of all that I get.’ 13 But the tax collector, standing far off, would not even lift up his eyes to heaven, but beat his breast, saying, ‘God, be merciful to me, a sinner!’
Solomon prayed on his knees (1 Kings 8:54). Ezra prayed on his knees (Ezra 9:5). The Psalmist called us to kneel (Psalm 95:6). Daniel prayed on his knees (Daniel 6:10). People came to Jesus kneeling (Matthew 17:14, Matthew 20:20, and Mark 1:40). Stephen prayed on his knees (Acts 7:60). Peter prayed on his knees (Acts 9:40). Paul prayed on his knees (Acts 20:36), and other early Christians prayed on their knees (Acts 21:5). Most importantly, Jesus prayed on His knees (Luke 22:41). The Bible has enough prayer not on the knees to show us that it isn’t required, but it also has enough prayer on the knees to show us that it is good.
When Solomon kneeled he was dedicating the temple here paul is dedicating the church.
There is strength and power when we submit to God
To the Father
Ephesians 3:15 (ESV)
15 from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, 16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
Dear baby Jesus
Jesus followed the father plans, waited for the Fathers direction. Submitted to the father
John 8:42 (ESV)
42 Jesus said to them, “If God were your Father, you would love me, for I came from God and I am here. I came not of my own accord, but he sent me.
Acknowledge who the father is… praise…
Every family in haevvan and on earth..
Ephesians 3:16 (ESV)
16 that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being,
Our prayers should always be centered on His Glory not our worry
Paul focuses here on strength for our inner being.
Our inner being is reborn during salvation..
We are dead because of sin and In john 8;44-45 we either follow the father of lies..satan or God..
Our inner being must be strengthen by the spirit to survive this world..
The spirit does this by the word of God.
We need the word to survive this world
Our prayer should always be aimed at Gods glory..
So in order for us to be used by him our spiritual lives must be strengthened..
Benefits of focus on Gods glory instead of our worry.
To resist temptation
Proverbs 2:1-6 (ESV)
2 My son, if you receive my words
and treasure up my commandments with you,
2 making your ear attentive to wisdom
and inclining your heart to understanding;
3 yes, if you call out for insight
and raise your voice for understanding,
4 if you seek it like silver
and search for it as for hidden treasures,
5 then you will understand the fear of the Lord
and find the knowledge of God.
6 For the Lord gives wisdom;
from his mouth come knowledge and understanding.
To endure the pain of this world
James 1:12 (ESV)
12 Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.
To forgive sin of others
2 Corinthians 2:5-8 (ESV)
5 Now if anyone has caused pain, he has caused it not to me, but in some measure—not to put it too severely—to all of you. 6 For such a one, this punishment by the majority is enough,7 so you should rather turn to forgive and comfort him, or he may be overwhelmed by excessive sorrow. 8 So I beg you to reaffirm your love for him.
To live for Christ
Galatians 2:20 (ESV)
20 I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.
Father provides love and protection, provision and direction in his glories riches
Perhaps our expectations are just to low?
John 11:22 (ESV)
22 But even now I know that whatever you ask from God, God will give you.”
John 14:13-14 (ESV)
13 Whatever you ask in my name, this I will do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.14 If you ask me[a] anything in my name, I will do it.
Michael..
Brian sent an email and said
I know that all 4 of us will be in heaven together one day, but I'd rather Michael not go before either Stacie or me. But - God loves him more than we ever could and we trust the Lord's wisdom.
Please pray for Michael's healing... and also for peace of mind for our family.
Rooted and Grounded in love
Ephesians 3:17-19(ESV)
17 so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith—that you, being rooted and grounded in love, 18 may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, 19 and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God.

your going to have to make room.. in your heart and life..
If you were paying attention you will see that we pray to the father in the name of Jesus through the Spirit
Kenneth Wheats translates it like this'When you let your inner man be strengthened by the Holy Ghost, Christ will settle down and feel completely at home in your hearts'. Is He at home tonight? Is he? Can He go into every room? Can He look at every picture and painting that has been etched upon your conscience and your psyche, can He? Has He the keys to every door of every compartment of your recesses of your mind, conscious, or unconscious.
2 Corinthians 4:16 (ESV)
16 So we do not lose heart. Though our outer self[a] is wasting away, our inner self is being renewed day by day.
1Pet. 1:2 ...May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure.
Rom. 15:13 ...fill you with all joy and peace...
Eph. 5:18 ...filled with the Spirit,
Phil. 1:11 ...filled with the fruit of righteousness

1Ths. 1:5 ... with full conviction...
Col. 4:12 ...fully assured...
2Cor. 9:12 ...fully supplying the needs of the saints...
“Among all the great sayings in this prayer, this is the greatest. To be FILLED with God is a great thing; to be filled with the FULLNESS of God is still greater; but to be filled with ALL the fullness of God utterly bewilders the sense and confounds the understanding.”
God wants to fill you today with his STrenght and power and use you for his Glory.
So lets pray.. pray for your house the thigns you cant get out..etc.. `
