The world in which we live today is radically different from the world in which I grew up! And that world was evil enough! We live in a time when a person that holds to a Conservative world view can be cancelled by the elites of society. A person can take a stand for a position and be unemployed the next day. Our world today is a picture of what Isaiah said in Chapter 5:20!

Woe to those who call evil good, and good evil;
Who put darkness for light, and light for darkness;
Who put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!
Sadly this issue is not only in the world it has infiltrated our churches and made a lot of them (not all) afraid to take a stand and speak out about the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ!

I want to give a prime example of what I’m referring too. I want to talk about how Satan has totally transformed our message from what it should be for fear of us being seen as Intolerant, judgmental, homophobic, racial, exclusive, hatemonger, you get the picture.

*I know of Pastor friends who have been invited to speak at congregations other that their own and preached their heart out and spoke just one word that got them rebuked by the host Pastors for using this word! They said, “we don’t use that word around here because it is to harsh and unloving! We just talk about the Love of Christ!”

Turn with me to Luke 13:1-3 and we will discover this word!

Fellow believers if we allow Satan to influence us to be ashamed of this word, he has effectively stomped out the Gospel message of Salvation offered to all through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Jesus is the picture of love! BUT HE IS BEING INTOLERANT BECAUSE HE CANNOT LOOK UPON OR TOLERATE SIN! HE IS BEING JUDGMENTAL BECAUSE HE IS THE RIGHTEOUS JUDGE!

There are a lot of individuals, church members that no longer attend, that have no appetite for God and the things of God. They say things like “well I’m ok I went to church many years ago and went forward and said a prayer and got baptized or “i believe in the Bible and what it says about sin and Jesus” THIS NOT ENOUGH WITHOUT REPENTANCE!
