Salvation is Jesus' Mission (2)
Intro
We must always bear in mind that the primary purpose of our work is not to get people to join the church, or to give up their bad habits, or to do anything else than this, to accept Jesus Christ as their Savior, the one who bore their sins in His own body on the tree, and the one through whom they can have immediate and entire forgiveness.

God provided a life line!
The parent strives to save the wayward son, not alone because he is wayward, but because he loves him as a son
Jesus is the life line!
Do you trust in the life line!
Here it is: “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved.”
You say, “Mr. Sunday, the Church is full of hypocrites.” So’s hell. I say to you if you don’t want to go to hell and live with that whole bunch forever, come into the Church, where you won’t have to a&sociafe with them very long. There are no hypocrites in heaven.
You say, “Mr. Sunday, I can be a Christian and go to heaven without joining a church.” Yes, and you can go to Europe without getting on board a steamer. The swimming’s good—but the sharks are laying for fellows who take that route. I don’t believe you. If a man is truly saved he will hunt for a church right away.
Conclusion
The marvellous truth is that God has taken the initiative, made all necessary provisions, paid the debt, and waits, as the father of the prodigal son, for sinful man to return to Him in faith.
