Last week - Spoke about opening our EYES and seeing the GRACE that CRUSHED JESUS and the GRACE THAT SAVES US.
Opening our eyes to see;
We are told to do this in rememberance of me - Rememberance - it’s an act - it’s a moment, we stop, we think about the pain, the suffeirng, the freedom that it bought.
We think about that it’s not just THE CROSS, but OUR CROSS.
We think about the WRATH that God poured out on Jesus for us, to break our curse.;
Jesus, hanging there, taking the wrath
Now from the sixth hour there was darkness over all the land until the ninth hour. And about the ninth hour Jesus cried out with a loud voice, saying, “Eli, Eli, lema sabachthani?” that is, “My God, my God, why have you forsaken me?”
They hurled further insults
And Jesus cried out again with a loud voice and yielded up his spirit.
Yielded His Spirit - For you.
His body broken for you - His blood poured out for you - and now, His fathers arms wide open for you - because of the blood.
