i. Apostles Had Authority

ii. Prophets Had Teaching

iii. Evangelists Had Preaching

iv. Pastor/Teachers Have All Three (Through Scripture)

EXHORT: Pastors have the authority to teach, correct, and even rebuke. This authority does not come from a church vote or employment status, but from God’s Word. The Bible trains the Christian for their ministry, and the pastor’s responsibility is to teach and apply the Bible.
