WHERE IS YOUR FOCUS!

Peter walks on water.

Matt 14:22-33 “And straightway Jesus constrained his disciples to get into a ship, and to go before him unto the other side, while he sent the multitudes away.

(Jesus knew the storm was coming when he sent them on the ship, Jesus sent them.)

23. And when he had sent the multitudes away, he went up into a mountain apart to pray: and when the evening was come, he was there alone.

(Jesus prayed for them)

24. But the ship was now in the midst of the sea, tossed with waves: for the wind was contrary.

(Storms will come !!!)

25. And in the fourth watch of the night Jesus went unto them, walking on the sea.

(Jesus shows up when things are impossible for us)

26. And when the disciples saw him walking on the sea, they were troubled, saying, It is a spirit; and they cried out for fear.

(When we see may seems impossible for man we get afraid, we allow the world, what we use to see )

27. But straightway Jesus spake unto them, saying, Be of good cheer; it is I; be not afraid.

28. And Peter answered him and said, Lord, if it be thou, bid me come unto thee on the water.

(Peter had faith at this moment , the{ if } was jesus permission, )

29.And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.

(come) no matter what situation you are in come, In the midst of the storm come)

30. But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me.

(Peter took his eye of Jesus, He took his focus off of the savior, He took his eyes off of the one that sent them into the storm, As Jesus walk on water the storm was still there, You see when Peter step out the ship the storm was still raging, But his focus was on Jesus.)

(A Lot time we would pray for a blessing a miracle and God gives it, and as soon as we receive it we take our focus off of the one that gave it, )

Matt 14:31-33 31.“And immediately Jesus stretched forth his hand, and caught him, and said unto him, O thou of little faith, wherefore didst thou doubt?

(Even in Peter lack of faith, failure, short coming, Jesus save him.)

32. And when they were come into the ship, the wind ceased.

(But when Jesus and Peter got on the ship, My God, When Jesus shows up something must happen.)

33. Then they that were in the ship came and worshipped him, saying, Of a truth thou art the Son of God.”

( they worship and praise ) In Peter failure he had something to say, I walk on walk, i took a leap of faith and trust Jesus,
