INTRODUCTION

Series: Preparing For Exploits

A. This Year, the Lord is calling us to Do Exploits. There is something in us that is crying out for great things. The spirit of apathy and mediocrity will not be permitted to operate in our lives again.

Text: …. but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits. Daniel 11:32 NKJV

We took our time to talk about our first goal for this year 2023 ; our spiritual life.

RECAPITULATE:

The peak of being relevant in life is in your personal growth.

The personal growth of every person practically sets the limit on your life. Unless you develop, you cannot advance in life.

When you get better, is going to affects every aspect of your life.

Nobody goes beyond the level of their capacity. No one grows beyond the association he keeps. The association you keep will determine how far you will go.

The company you keep will determine the accomplishment you will make.

II. PREPARE FOR WHAT YOU PRAYING FOR

Because you get what you prepare for

God cannot use you beyond your preparation.

God is going to use you according to the level of capacity that you have developed.

2 Things To Developed:

1. Your Spiritual life.

The requirement to grow spiritual:

1.The word

2.Prayer and fasting

These are foundation.

2. Humility

Moses was a humble man.

With God the lower you go, the higher He takes you.

So you humble yourself.

PREPARE YOURSELF PT.2

In preparing for Exploits, there are some important fundanentals that we need to put in place in our lives.

In this life, you are going to get what you prepare for. Your life is heading towards the direction of what you prepared for.

3 Things you need to consider if you are going to possition yourself for exploits:

I. Clarity of Vision

You need to have a clear vision for your life.

Unless you know where you are going in life, you are driven by anything.

A lack or clear vision will mke you timid, week, insecure.

Vision is the strength of convinction

If you cannot come to the place of strong conviction, you going no where

If you don't have a vision, you always beg people to stay. Even if their life is not straight, you are afraid to correct them in love because you are afraid they will leave.

Vision is the strength of your conviction.

Once you get it clear, it doesn’t matter who is with you and who not.

Visioners don't beg for people to stay

That is why when you abandoned a visioner, before you come back, he has move on.

That's how they think.

People will leave you if they want to leave you.

Matthew 6:22-23 NKJV "The lamp of the body is the eye. If therefore your eye is good, your whole body will be full of light. [23] But if your eye is bad, your whole body will be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in you is darkness, how great is that darkness!

A. Jesus is talking about the ability to see beyond normal.

What the eye is to the body, is what vision is to your life.

Your eyes guide your body, feet, to go, when to stop in danger etc.

The same way, vision limits your life. The ability to see what other cannot see.

You must continue to have clarity of Vision for your life.

b. Habakkuk 2:2 NKJV…. : "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it.

Write and write and rewrite.

There is something about writing. Writing invites the brain.

The more you write, the more inspiration you gain.

Your writing brings you to a point of conviction.

Putting plans on paper is like putting fire on your soul.

Serious people are writers.

Any light that comes to you write it down. Any inspiration that comes to you, write it down

In other to make it clear, write and rewrite.

When you write and rewrite the clearer and stronger it becomes

c. PLAN

Plan big.

There is nothing wrong with planning. You will not lose anything.

But you will lose everything without planning.

II. ACCUSITION OF KNOWLEDGE

You must acquire for knowledge.

Whatever you doing , you must start with knowledge.

You must pay the price of research. To read and to study

Search and research.

You must carry weight when it comes to knowledge.

Be a reader. Have knowledge in what you are called to do.

The way some of us live our lives, we have reduced ourselves to culture and local output.

God will assign you to only what you are prepare for.

Proverbs 23:23 NKJV

Buy the truth, and do not sell it, Also wisdom and instruction and understanding.

We have to develop ourselves in knowledge.

Daniel 1:5-

Daniel rises to power because he was developed in knowledge

Jesus did not only come with anointing; he came with wisdom.

JESUS

Jesus took time to study the books

He always referred the people to the books. He knew the word.

He had to study the word.

We need to be equipped by increasing our knowledge.

Local knowledge will reduce you to local impact.

Global knowledge will enhance your global ministry.

Knowledge overcome low esteem, inferiority complex and it enhances your confidence.

II. TO BE BECOME AMBITIOUS

A desire to achieve.

A lot of people have the vision but they don’t have the ambitions.

You set goals and you plan big.

It takes passion

There must be a drive. A passion

There are so many that are sluggish, sleepy that they let things slip off their hands.

Ambitious people don’t like carrying their mistakes to the following week because they want to achieve something.

IV. YOU MUST DEVELOP COURAGE

Challenges and resistance will try discourage you.

You have to be courageous

No door will open to you with ease.

Joshua 1:6-7,9 NKJV

Be strong and of good courage, for to this people you shall divide as an inheritance the land which I swore to their fathers to give them. [7] Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may prosper wherever you go. [9] Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the LORD your God is with you wherever you go."

There are people that will try to irritate you.

You have to face the challenges that are coming.

Have the ability to do big things.
