Good evening, and welcome to this special occasion of Rev. Gary Holman pastoral installation. Today, we come together as a community of faith to celebrate the calling of our new pastor and to dedicate ourselves to the work of ministry in this place. Let us join our hearts and minds in worship as we offer our thanks and praise to God.

Invocation:

Loving God, we gather in your presence today with grateful hearts and eager spirits. We give thanks for this momentous occasion of Rev. Gary Holman pastoral installation, and for the opportunity to welcome our new pastor into this community of faith. We ask that you bless this service and all who participate in it, that it may be a time of joy, celebration, and renewed commitment to your mission. May your Spirit be with us in this time of worship, filling us with inspiration, hope, and courage for the journey ahead. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Offertory Prayer:

Loving God, we offer these gifts to you with grateful hearts, trusting that you will use them for your purposes in this world. We give not out of obligation, but out of joy and generosity, knowing that everything we have comes from you. Bless these offerings and multiply them, that they may be a source of hope, healing, and transformation for all those in need. May they be a tangible expression of our commitment to your mission and our love for others. We pray this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

As part of our celebration of this special occasion, we will now take a love offering to support the ministry of our new pastor and their family. We invite you to give generously, as you are able, as a tangible expression of your love and support for them in this new season of ministry. May these gifts be a blessing to our pastor and their family, and may they be used to further the work of your kingdom in this community and beyond.

Recommendation of Committee

The formal way for the recommendation of committee typically involves a written or oral presentation of the candidate's qualifications and suitability for the position. The committee will usually provide a statement outlining the candidate's background, experience, and qualifications, as well as any other factors that led them to recommend the candidate for the position. The committee's recommendation may be followed by a vote or other formal action to formally install the candidate in the position.

Fellowship: Following the installation, we invite everyone to a time of fellowship and refreshments in the fellowship hall. This is a time for us to come together as a community and celebrate this new chapter in the life of our church. We encourage everyone to take this opportunity to greet our new pastor and their family, and to get to know one another better. Let us enjoy this time of fellowship and continue to be united in our faith and purpose.

Benediction: Dear Lord, we thank you for this time of celebration and installation. We ask that you bless our new pastor and their family as they begin their ministry here. May they feel your presence guiding them and giving them strength as they lead our congregation. We also ask that you bless our congregation as we welcome our new pastor and work together to fulfill your will. May we grow together in faith, love, and service. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
