Objective:

To teach each youth, that once saved, Salvation is inevitable. However, that doesn’t mean that we don’t have a hand in our sanctification process. Although, sanctification is a work of the Holy spirit; humans can slow down that work by rerouting their destiny.
What is sanctification?
Sanctification is the process that all believers go through on the road to Glorification. (Don’t worry, we will talk about Glorification another time). Sanctification, is a work that is perform by the Holy Spirit in a believer. This work is continuous without pause until death. This work can not be stop unless the believers die, in which cause then the believer is now with the Savior 2 Corinthians 5:8
2 Corinthians 5:8 ESV
Yes, we are of good courage, and we would rather be away from the body and at home with the Lord.
However, just because the process of Sanctification can’t be stopped; it doesn’t mean that it can’t be slowed downed. Although, God is in control of our sanctification, he does allow us to navigate our destiny. Which means in my live on this road of sanctification, I can slow down the process or I can enrich it. God has given all believers warning signs on this road of sanctification and we have a choice of taking heed or ignoring.

Road to sanctification:

Just imagine working for a trucking company. Your job is to make deliveries in a timely fashion. The job if done correctly you will get paid $5000 dollars. If the job is done incorrectly you are penalized and docked 300.00 for each penalty. Name ten penalties that a person could make.

However, so that you won’t lose any money, the CEO of the company made a handbook. The handbook tells you everything that you need to have and know to ensure you receive your full profit. What 10 things do you think the CEO will advise.

The C.E.O

The C.E.O of live is no other than ___________.
If this is the case then we must adhere to his word. What does the C.E.O. tell us in John 14:15-21
John 14:15–21 ESV
“If you love me, you will keep my commandments. And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Helper, to be with you forever, even the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees him nor knows him. You know him, for he dwells with you and will be in you. “I will not leave you as orphans; I will come to you. Yet a little while and the world will see me no more, but you will see me. Because I live, you also will live. In that day you will know that I am in my Father, and you in me, and I in you. Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.”
The commands of God are found in the ____________
The _________is the ___________ that all Christians should learn from to help us on our road trip...
Although the things that were listed above where somewhat physical, we can see how it caused us a delay to our destination.
The apostle Peter understood this very well. Peter who once abandoned and turned on Jesus taught on the importance of watching for warnings signs. Peter told us to be sober minded and alert at all times.
In 2nd Peter the apostle keys in on some spiritual yet practical things that we should be aware of.
2 Peter 3:14–18 ESV
Therefore, beloved, since you are waiting for these, be diligent to be found by him without spot or blemish, and at peace. And count the patience of our Lord as salvation, just as our beloved brother Paul also wrote to you according to the wisdom given him, as he does in all his letters when he speaks in them of these matters. There are some things in them that are hard to understand, which the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they do the other Scriptures. You therefore, beloved, knowing this beforehand, take care that you are not carried away with the error of lawless people and lose your own stability. But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be the glory both now and to the day of eternity. Amen.
Peter encourages us to be diligent about living with moral ______. [Read 1 Corinthians 6:18a.] The Apostle Paul warned us about sexual immorality. His message was simple. He said that we should flee from it, as in, run away! When we don’t flee, God is not glorified. Beware of falling into this sin! [Read 1 Corinthians 15:33.] The Apostle Paul also warned us about toxic friends. He reminded us that the company we keep will directly affect our life. Beware of the company you keep! [Read Psalm 119:37.] The psalmist warned us about what we allow our eyes to see. He asked God to help him keep his eyes from looking at worthless or wicked things. Beware of the things that you allow yourself to view!
Be diligent about standing in ___________. We must not give in to lies or the desire to lie. Giving into lies is a major problem today for believers. Many believers believe the lie since God has grace, obedience doesn’t matter. These and many other lies come from false teachers.
3. Be Diligent in continually ________. We must stay in God’s word daily if we want to understand God. God gives _______ freely and if we are to grow than we must understand that we should always be moving forward. Satan will try to use you failures to make us gravel in the past. However, we must understand that growing in sanctification, is growing in _______ at the same time. We must also grow in ____________. We must grow in knowing who our savior is. What is the point of getting to a destination and no nothing about it when you get there. Paul the apostle wanted to know everything he could about his savior. Philippians 3:8
Philippians 3:8 ESV
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ
Although, your will get to your destination how many points will you be docked....
