Will we meet again?

I’m Not Sure how well Haley knew Jesus, but I do know how well Jesus knew Haley.

The Lord God told Jeremiah the Prophet that he knew him even before he was formed in the womb.

Jeremiah 1:4–5 (KJV 1900)

Then the word of the Lord came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.

In Psalms 139:3 “Thou compassest my path and my lying down, And art acquainted with all my ways.”

the Psalmist David acknowledges that the Lord of all creation is acquainted with all my ways! A God that knows my very thoughts and imaginations of my heart? Wow!

But I’ve got some family members under the sound of my voice today that are pretty sore with God, right now.

“Don’t you tell me anything a bout how God is, he took my baby, my sister, my wife!” I wanna tell ya I understand, but nothing like God does because he lost his only son too! Sacrificed on a cruel tree for mine and your sins! If anyone knows how it feels to lose a child, it’s him! (mic drop)

Yes he knew Haley Lorraine better than any of us, right down to the purpose he created her for her appointed time when she would leave this life to go home with him. For as the writer of Hebrews wrote in Hebrews 9:27 Tells us that every person (Including all those sittting here today!) has an appointment with death and judgement.

But Preacher Jesus arose! That’s it! that is what I am trying to tell you here today that death his not the end Paul said behold I show you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall be changed in a moment and tin the twinkling of an eye. At the trump of God the dead in christ shall rise and we that are alive and remain will be caught up to meet them in the air to be with the Lord for evermore. Revelation 21:1-4

And I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth were passed away; and there was no more sea. And I John saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down from God out of heaven, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a great voice out of heaven saying, Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and he will dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and God himself shall be with them, and be their God. And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
