Living a Fearless Life Pt6
Notes
Transcript
4 One thing have I desired of the Lord, that will I seek after; That I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in his temple.
5 For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his pavilion: In the secret of his tabernacle shall he hide me; He shall set me up upon a rock.
6 And now shall mine head be lifted up above mine enemies round about me: Therefore will I offer in his tabernacle sacrifices of joy; I will sing, yea, I will sing praises unto the Lord.
7 For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
Fear invades us when we feel we have no strength and we are helpless.
Fear invades us when we feel we have no strength and we are helpless.
4 I am counted with them that go down into the pit: I am as a man that hath no strength:
2 How hast thou helped him that is without power? How savest thou the arm that hath no strength?
8 Therefore I was left alone, and saw this great vision, and there remained no strength in me: for my comeliness was turned in me into corruption, and I retained no strength.
When we feel we have no Strength fear invades our bodies and we feel helpless.

Helplessness brings weakness, weakness breeds fear.
Helplessness brings weakness, weakness breeds fear.
2 Have mercy upon me, O Lord; for I am weak: O Lord, heal me; for my bones are vexed.
41 Watch and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
