The Bible has much to say when it comes to speaking about God. In the Bible, we are given the instruction to speak to one another about the One; that is, Father God, His son Jesus, and Holy Spirit. This is something that should be a part of every church's practices and teaching; encouraging followers of Christ to share their faith with each other and with others. Stronger Together

Thank-you for being here today, and thank you to those who join us online either live or sometime in the future.
We have spent the last 22 weeks equiping you with the tools to rebuildng what the enemy intended to destroy.
To remind you of the verse that should be ever present in our hearts and minds
John 10:10 NASB95
10 “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly.
The thief, satan, want to steal, kill and destroy.
Ever have someone steal from you?....yes we all have
that was inspired by satan
ever have a dream or someone you love killed?
that was inspired by satan
Ever have personal property or a relationship destroyed?
that too was inspired by satan
1 Peter 5:8 NASB95
8 Be of sober spirit, be on the alert. Your adversary, the devil, prowls around like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour.
Jesus came to give abundant life.
You you feel like you are living in an abundant life?
If Not, its vital to diagnose where the enemy is working in your life to prevent God’s abundance from flowing through you.
allow me to give you an example.
Are you struggling financially?
If you are, your finances are likely being restricled by the thief
How can he do this?
Malachi 3:7–12 NASB95
7 “From the days of your fathers you have turned aside from My statutes and have not kept them. Return to Me, and I will return to you,” says the Lord of hosts. “But you say, ‘How shall we return?’ 8 “Will a man rob God? Yet you are robbing Me! But you say, ‘How have we robbed You?’ In tithes and offerings. 9 “You are cursed with a curse, for you are robbing Me, the whole nation of you! 10 “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house, and test Me now in this,” says the Lord of hosts, “if I will not open for you the windows of heaven and pour out for you a blessing until it overflows. 11 “Then I will rebuke the devourer for you, so that it will not destroy the fruits of the ground; nor will your vine in the field cast its grapes,” says the Lord of hosts. 12 “All the nations will call you blessed, for you shall be a delightful land,” says the Lord of hosts.
The devourer is also the thief. they are one in the same
God is promising to rebuke the devourer, but we first must do our part.
its imperitive we be obiedient and “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, so that there may be food in My house”
Haggai 1:6–9 NASB95
6 “You have sown much, but harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns, earns wages to put into a purse with holes.” 7 Thus says the Lord of hosts, “Consider your ways! 8 “Go up to the mountains, bring wood and rebuild the temple, that I may be pleased with it and be glorified,” says the Lord. 9 You look for much, but behold, it comes to little; when you bring it home, I blow it away. Why?” declares the Lord of hosts, “Because of My house which lies desolate, while each of you runs to his own house.
I beleive this is a prophetic passage.
and its for us today.
The current worldwide church has been decimated like never before because of the lockdowns.
In a recent survey The average church reported 63% of its pre-pandemic in-person attendance
Here at KWay we can look around and see we are in the same boat
I’m glad to see our number are increasing
but like in the OT the early temple was destroyed and needed to be rebuilt.
I contend we are in a place that the current church needs to be rebuilt
And until we each make it a priority, our personal lives will continue to experience
Haggai 1:6 NASB95
6 “You have sown much, but harvest little; you eat, but there is not enough to be satisfied; you drink, but there is not enough to become drunk; you put on clothing, but no one is warm enough; and he who earns, earns wages to put into a purse with holes.”
So How do we rebuild KWay?
Well have you noticed what we’ve spent the last 22 weeks talking about?
I beleive the only way to rebuild is to do it the original way God intended.
Through relationships
That’s why I believe the enemy spent so much effort segragating, dividing, isolating people from one another.
He was doing his worst to prevent what God was about to release on the earth.
We are now in the phase where we are seeing God moving in only ways He can.
He is faithful and true
We need to be too.
We have to do our part and reach out beyond ourselves and intentianally form relationship which each other and those outside the church
Look around, many of you may have noticed the flags drapped around the sanctuary.
Each of thise flags represent a nation where where one of you has originated from.
If I missed your originating country flag please forgive me and let me know. I’ll add it the collection.
this is to serve as a visual reminder of how God brings people togther.
We may not be a big church, but look at how many countries God has formed us from
I don’t know about you, but this encourages me
Many of you have been brought from 1000’s of miles to a little church in Edmonton Alberta for such a time as this.
We as a congregation have been established to bring the Kingdom message to a lost and dying world.
Each one of you has been given a story, that only you can tell
and our combined stories will form the basis of the calling of this church.
That is why we are concluding this series with this topic:

Speak to One another About the One

Ephesians 5:19 NASB95
19 speaking to one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing and making melody with your heart to the Lord;
One of the greatest things you can do to encourage, buildup, help one another grow, is to share with each other What God has done for you.
1 John 5:11 NASB95
11 And the testimony is this, that God has given us eternal life, and this life is in His Son.
Speak to One another About the One, means were are sharing what we know about God. specifially what He has done in our own lives

Testimony

The bible calls this testimony.
and testimony is simply telling what you know. specifically about God!
It’s like a testifying. If you witness something and the person involved is called before a judge. you may be called to tell the judge what you know.
He’s not looking for your legal opinion
He’s not asking if you think the person is guilty or not
Simply you are testifying to what you saw.
The same is true about a biblical testimony.
You simply tell your story about what God has done in your life.
Know one can refute it, because its yours
you are the eyewitness of this events
You know better than anyone else what God has done for you
they may not believe it, but that’s on them.
What’s on you is that you share it
1 John 5:10 NASB95
10 The one who believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself; the one who does not believe God has made Him a liar, because he has not believed in the testimony that God has given concerning His Son.

God expects us to share what he has done in our lives

Matthew 10:32 NASB95
32 “Therefore everyone who confesses Me before men, I will also confess him before My Father who is in heaven.
Jesus sets Man with legion demons free
reinterated in the gospel of Luke
Luke 8:39 NASB95
39 “Return to your house and describe what great things God has done for you.” So he went away, proclaiming throughout the whole city what great things Jesus had done for him.
thats the definition of your testimony
“describe what great things God has done for you”
1 Peter 3:15 NASB95
15 but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence;

We should be delighted to share what we know

2 Timothy 1:8 NASB95
8 Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord or of me His prisoner, but join with me in suffering for the gospel according to the power of God,
Psalm 66:16 NASB95
16 Come and hear, all who fear God, And I will tell of what He has done for my soul.
Psalm 40:9–10 NASB95
9 I have proclaimed glad tidings of righteousness in the great congregation; Behold, I will not restrain my lips, O Lord, You know. 10 I have not hidden Your righteousness within my heart; I have spoken of Your faithfulness and Your salvation; I have not concealed Your lovingkindness and Your truth from the great congregation.
David always sharing with me What God is doing in his life
Psalm 107:1–2 NASB95
1 Oh give thanks to the Lord, for He is good, For His lovingkindness is everlasting. 2 Let the redeemed of the Lord say so, Whom He has redeemed from the hand of the adversary
Why does God want us to share our testimony?

Builds our faith

Romans 10:17 NASB95
17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

Empowers us to conquer the enemy

Revelation 12:11 NASB95
11 “And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.

Enables us to Spread the Gospel

Psalm 40:3 NASB95
3 He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God; Many will see and fear And will trust in the Lord.

Spreads Healings and Miracles

Mark 5:18–21 NASB95
18 As He was getting into the boat, the man who had been demon-possessed was imploring Him that he might accompany Him. 19 And He did not let him, but He said to him, “Go home to your people and report to them what great things the Lord has done for you, and how He had mercy on you.” 20 And he went away and began to proclaim in Decapolis what great things Jesus had done for him; and everyone was amazed. 21 When Jesus had crossed over again in the boat to the other side, a large crowd gathered around Him; and so He stayed by the seashore.
notice after the man was delivered he wanted to join those who followed Jesus
But Jesus had a better plan for that man
He told him to go and share his testimony
People new this man when he was in dire straits,
and hearing the the testimony of the delivered man, brought the crowds to Jesus
I have personally seen countless times where one persons healing has been the instigator for anothers
The basis of testimony is the beilef that if GOd did it for you He can do it for me as well.
That is an absolutely true statement
Sharing your testimony may be exactly what that person needs to hear in order for God’s will to be carried out in their own life
So please make an effort.
Ask holy spirit to help you remember all that God has done for you
then ask for the boldness and opportunity to share testimony with those who will receive it!
