What we wonder as we read the story of Lazarus' death is the same thing Mary and Martha wondered: Why did Jesus wait? He knew Lazarus was sick, and yet he didn't come right away. That can be confusing for us, but just like everything Jesus does, there was a reason for it. That's what we find in today's sermon based on John 11:17-45.
