The number 3 biblically represents divine wholeness, completeness and perfection. If there ever was a desire to highlight idea, thought, event or noteworthy figure in the Bible for prominence, the number 3 was used to put a divine stamp of completion or fulfillment on the subject
HOLY! HOLY! HOLY!
3 And one called to another and said: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord of hosts; the whole earth is full of his glory!”
You see just one Holy does not give God the credit in which He deserves and desires.
Three heavens
14 Behold, to the Lord your God belong heaven and the heaven of heavens, the earth with all that is in it.
Omnipotent, omniscience, omnipresent
you can find all throughout the bible where God is all powerful, all knowing, and all places
Trinity
Even though this word is made up and not in the bible we find throughout the scriptures. A lot in John were God is Triune.
God the Father God the Son God the Holy Spirit
Jesus ministry was around 3 years and he would be crucified on the cross at 33 years old at 3pm just hours before the passover
23 Jesus, when he began his ministry, was about thirty years of age, being the son (as was supposed) of Joseph, the son of Heli,
He was pierced with 3 nails
He arose on the Third day
Peter denied Christ 3 times.
31 “Simon, Simon, behold, Satan demanded to have you, that he might sift you like wheat,
32 but I have prayed for you that your faith may not fail. And when you have turned again, strengthen your brothers.”
33 Peter said to him, “Lord, I am ready to go with you both to prison and to death.”
34 Jesus said, “I tell you, Peter, the rooster will not crow this day, until you deny three times that you know me.”
54 Then they seized him and led him away, bringing him into the high priest’s house, and Peter was following at a distance.
55 And when they had kindled a fire in the middle of the courtyard and sat down together, Peter sat down among them.
56 Then a servant girl, seeing him as he sat in the light and looking closely at him, said, “This man also was with him.”
57 But he denied it, saying, “Woman, I do not know him.”
58 And a little later someone else saw him and said, “You also are one of them.” But Peter said, “Man, I am not.”
59 And after an interval of about an hour still another insisted, saying, “Certainly this man also was with him, for he too is a Galilean.”
60 But Peter said, “Man, I do not know what you are talking about.” And immediately, while he was still speaking, the rooster crowed.
61 And the Lord turned and looked at Peter. And Peter remembered the saying of the Lord, how he had said to him, “Before the rooster crows today, you will deny me three times.”
62 And he went out and wept bitterly.
With holy week among us the greatest greatest greatest week for Christians we need to understand that no matter how many times we have denied Christ in our lives, in our daily walk that God has never given up on you. He knows through His omniscience before you ever sin. Hes forgiven you of that sin. He wants you to forgive yourself of things you have done so that you can find joy in this life through HIM
