March & April : Anointing For Exploits
There are different anointings. Different levels of the anointing but from the same Holy Spirit.
Do you know that: Every believer, child of God has the anointing. And you can receive different Anointing in different levels.
What Is the Anointing?
It is the power of God that enable us for a specific purpose. It is the power of God that enables you to do what you cannot do.
The anointing makes you be able to accomplish what you cannot in your own ability.
With the anointing, you're better able to do more. With the anointing , you get results.
Preposition:
We want to look at the anointing that every Child of God carries.
1 John 2:20 NKJV But you have an anointing from the Holy One, and you know all things.
It is the individual anointing that we all received in the new birth.
The anointing that every child of God carries is the indwelling of the Holy spirit.
John 14:16-17 NKJV
And I will pray the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever- [17] the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you.
Philippians 2:13 NKJV
for it is God who works in you both to will and to do for His good pleasure.
John 14:26 NKJV
But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
Every born-again Christians carries this personal anointing.
That is the first anointing that every child of God possess - so expect the Holy spirit to teach you, guide you, reveal to you etc. into the power of the newness of life.
God has not called us to live this Christian life in our own power.
That is why He has given every believer this personal anointing. The Holy spirit that abides in us through the new birth.
So, we can carry out this Christian life.
The anointing is in every believer to help you carry out the new life in Christ.
when you get born again, an unction or anointing is in you to get results.
As you surrender and yield to the Holy spirit, he will teach you. He will teach you things that your head wouldn't go along with.
Every believer has the anointing in him.
3 Things That you Must Know about Your Personal Anointing
1. That anointing is in you to teach you all things.
John 14:26 KJV
But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.
The power of the Holy spirit at work in you.
When you listen to what people have to say teach or sing, the Holy spirit will witness in your spirit whether if what they are saying is true or not.
There is an inward, witness, anointing that will teach you all things.
Let's open up to the spirit and He will teach us things.
Even if our head will not go along, we should go ahead and listen to our spirit.
The inner teacher who is the Holy spirit confirm what if you are listening is the truth or not.
we must learn to listen. The Holy spirit will tell us what against popular opinions because mostly it’s not based on truth.
2.The Anointing will teach you to receive the fathers love
God wants to provide for us in our daily lives.
Psalm 68:19 KJV Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.
The divine life within us comes from God. And we are entirely depended on him.
As we need every moment a fresh air to breath, so we entirely depended on God to live.
Q:What is keeping many children of God from experiencing their privileges in Christ?
So many believers have such wrong thoughts of God. And the Holy Spirit want to help us this morning to change that.
Luke 15:20-22,24-32 NKJV
"And he arose and came to his father. But when he was still a great way off, his father saw him and had compassion, and ran and fell on his neck and kissed him. [21] And the son said to him, 'Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight, and am no longer worthy to be called your son.' [22] "But the father said to his servants, 'Bring out the best robe and put it on him, and put a ring on his hand and sandals on his feet. [24] for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.' And they began to be merry.
[25] "Now his older son was in the field. And as he came and drew near to the house, he heard music and dancing. [26] So he called one of the servants and asked what these things meant. [27] And he said to him, 'Your brother has come, and because he has received him safe and sound, your father has killed the fatted calf.' [28] "But he was angry and would not go in. Therefore, his father came out and pleaded with him.
[29] So he answered and said to his father, 'Lo, these many years I have been serving you; I never transgressed your commandment at any time; and yet you never gave me a young goat, that I might make merry with my friends. [30] But as soon as this son of yours came, who has devoured your livelihood with harlots, you killed the fatted calf for him.' [31] "And he said to him, 'Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours. [32] It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.'"
The older son was in the field. Probably working for the father.
He was displeased and complains why the father never gave him a goat to merry with his friends.
The elder son was living with his father and serving him "these many years," and he complains that his father never gave him a kid, while he gave his prodigal brother the fatted calf.
Why was this?
Simply because he did not ask it.
He did not believe that he would get it, and therefore never asked it, and never enjoyed it.
He continued to live in constant murmuring and dissatisfaction; and the key note of all this wretched life is furnished in what he said.
His father gave him everything, yet he never enjoyed it; and he throws the whole blame on his loving and kind father.
That is the way many children of God behaves
God is willing to help you no matter what the situation you are in.
Why all these years he never asked?
The father said: ” Son, you are always with me, and all that I have is yours.”
But he never enjoyed the blessing. What a pitty?
He was living in doubt and unbelief.
He was not sure of the father’s willingness to give Him what he asks.
This is the case of many Children of God.
We know about the sovereignty of God, but we are doubtful of His willingness to bless us.
We think we are not worthy of the blessing--we are not good enough; and therefore God has not given it. There are more among us than we know of, or are willing to admit, who throw the blame of our darkness, and of our wanderings on God.
All the Attributes of God speaks of one thing: His Holiness
All the attributes of God is in one word; HOLINESS
Attributes of God:
God is love 1John 4:8
God is Light–1John 1:5
God is Righteous Psalm 145:17
God is just–2Thes 1:6
God is Power– 1Chro 29:11
God is faithful- 1Cor 1:9
Etc.
So, when we worship Him, that is actually what we saying.
When we sing Holy, Holy, Holy are you, Lord. We are singing the attributes of His being.
3.The anointing in you will teach you walk in the Father provision
God's word teaches us, in the story of the Israelites, that it was unbelief on their part that was the cause of their troubles, and not any limitation or restriction on God's part.
As Psalm 78 says:--"He clave the rocks in the wilderness, and gave them drink as out of the great depths. He brought streams also out of the rock, and caused waters to run down like rivers." Yet they sinned by doubting His power to provide meat for them--"They spake against God; they said, can God furnish a table in the wilderness?"
We must come to the discovery, and the acknowledgment of the unbelief there is in our hearts.
That we may come to see that it is by our unbelief that we have prevented God from doing His work in us.
Unbelief is the mother of disobedience, and of all my sins and short comings--my temper, my pride, my unlovingness, my worldliness, my sins of every kind.
if you are not living in the joy of God's salvation, the entire cause is your unbelief.
You do not believe in the mighty power of God, and that He is willing by His Holy Spirit to work a thorough change in your life, and enable you to live in fulness of consecration to Him.
God is willing that you should so live; but you do not believe it.
If we will really believe in the infinite love of God, what a change it would bring about!
There are many children of God who need to confess, that though they are His children, they have never believed that God's promises are true, that He is willing to fill their hearts all the day long with His blessed presence.
My daughter Laura asks me what I will give her when she writes 1 in Math
I told her she can order whatever she likes in Amazon. I later found out that what she asked was just costing 15€ .
This reminds me how sometimes we are so blinded of our unbelief that we expect little.
