After an intense night of prayer, Jesus selcts His 12 Apostles and then comes to a “level place” where He delivers a sermon about the radically different life He is calling us to in His Kingdom. This life is impossible unless Christ makes us into new people and gives us power to live it. In His sermon, Jesus decribes the life He will bless and the life that will be full of sorrow.
