Intro: If you walked into a secular religious studies class, you might hear things like:
“Everyone has their own religion and beliefs, and that’s ok.”
“All roads lead to the same place.”
“No religion holds all truth.”

The whole world and everyone in it is created by God.

Psalm 65:5 ESV
By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness, O God of our salvation, the hope of all the ends of the earth and of the farthest seas;
Jeremiah 32:27 NIV
“I am the Lord, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Psalm 46:10 ESV
“Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted in the earth!”
He is the God of our religion, but he is more than just that. He God over all.
Our God created those who claim to be of other religions.
People have been deceived to follow false gods, false ideologies and false religions.
False Prophets
Demonic forces Eph. 6:12
Ephesians 6:12 ESV
For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers over this present darkness, against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places.
Deceived and are enslaved.
Jesus is going to save people from these groups. He is going to set captives free. Matt. 24:14
Matthew 24:14 ESV
And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.

Jesus Christ was sent from the Father to be the mediator between the Father and mankind.

1 Timothy 2:5 ESV
For there is one God, and there is one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,
He is the only way to God. John 14:6
John 14:6 ESV
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, and the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.
He is the only way to be saved. John. 3:18
John 3:18 ESV
Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
Everyone needs Jesus.
Some will not believe. John. 1:11
John 1:11 ESV
He came to his own, and his own people did not receive him.
Some will believe, and they will be adopted into God’s family and live with him forever. John 1:12
John 1:12 ESV
But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God,

While Jesus reached some people during his earthly ministry, he is completing his ministry through his disciples today.

Matthew 28:18–20 ESV
And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
Mark 16:15 ESV
And he said to them, “Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.
Acts 1:8 ESV
But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you, and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.”
There are still over 7,400 unreached people groups around the world.
97% of the unreached people groups live in the 10/40 window.
Yet only 4% of missionaries are going to the 10/40 window.

We must have a “wartime” mentality.”

2 Timothy 2:4 ESV
No soldier gets entangled in civilian pursuits, since his aim is to please the one who enlisted him.
Our lives should be oriented around glorifying God and joining his mission.
It changes the way we view our time in college.
Why are you going to college?
We need Christians in many vocations who will move to unreached parts of the world.
Businessmen (Silk Road)
Doctors (Hudson Taylor)
Engineers
It changes the way we view our money.
Why do you want a nice income?
Nice stuff?
Fund the war?
More troops
More supplies
It changes the way we view the Church.
I used to think: Hospital —> wellness center
Military training base:
We might need treatment.
Strengthen the troops and send them out for battle.
It changes the way we view calling.
“Am I called to stay?” rather than, “Am I called to go?” Jesus already told us to go to the nations.
Currently, there is a distribution problem.
Christians are huddled together in countries that are already reached.

Our time on earth is short, and it’s not meant to be heaven… but it can have a heavenly impact.

Don’t waste this life trying to store up for yourself treasure on earth. When you get to heaven, the streets will be made of gold, and anything you saved up will look like a few pennies in your pocket.
Don’t waste your life trying to reach perfect health. When you get to heaven, any measure of health you acheived will look sickly compared to your new heavenly body.
Don’t waste your life trying to gather new experiences. When you get to heaven, everything on your bucket list will pail in comparison to one moment with Jesus.
Don’t waste your life trying to make a comfortable lifestyle. You will have all eternity to be comfortable.
Don’t waste your life chasing pleasure. For one moment in the presence of God will make every earthly pleasure seem as silly as drinking warm flat off brand cola on a hot day.
Spend your life taking the gospel to those who have never heard about Jesus. Because in heaven, there will be no people who don’t know Jesus.
This is your chance to impact eternity.
This is your time to be a part of God’s mission.
This is the time to take a risk.
Don’t waste your life.

What you can do to be a part of God’s Mission?
