We as Christians have parts of our spiritual lives that are like that of the seasons of weather. We will journey through these seasons.

Spring:
Ecclesiastes 3:1 CSB
There is an occasion for everything, and a time for every activity under heaven:
Time of growth and beginnings.
Times such as D Now, Love Where you live, baptisms, (Riley Emmett), and Mission trips.
Spring us that growth is possible and we feel close to God.
Joel 2:22 CSB
Don’t be afraid, wild animals, for the wilderness pastures have turned green, the trees bear their fruit, and the fig tree and grapevine yield their riches.
Matthew 24:32 CSB
“Learn this lesson from the fig tree: As soon as its branch becomes tender and sprouts leaves, you know that summer is near.

Summer.

Time of renewal, refreshing, and rejuvenation.
Sense of refreshment and joy.
The temperature is hot and at this point/ season so is our Faith for God. We are on fire and we feel as though we are as close to the Father as we have ever been.
Reading scripture, serving the church, checking on one another, praying regularly.
Every thing is going well. Lets not forget Autumn.
Proverbs 10:5 CSB
The son who gathers during summer is prudent; the son who sleeps during harvest is disgraceful.

Fall.

Times change and days become shorter.
Leaves change and fall land is barren.
There comes a time when every summer will ,have something of autumn about it. A Bartlett Giamatti, “The Green Fields of the Mind”
In autumn’s vibrant colors there are reminders of summer’s fullness of life, of winter’s impeding bleakness, and of the prospect of spring not far beyond. Autumn compels us to think about life’s transience and continuity all in one. Allen M. Young, “Small Creatures and Ordinary Places”
We have had a rough time or negative impact on our lives but not at our lowest.
We begin to cool down for God and not seek him as often.

Winter.

Cold short days.
Limited on outside activities
Ecclesiastes 3:9–15 CSB
What does the worker gain from his struggles? I have seen the task that God has given the children of Adam to keep them occupied. He has made everything appropriate in its time. He has also put eternity in their hearts, but no one can discover the work God has done from beginning to end. I know that there is nothing better for them than to rejoice and enjoy the good life. It is also the gift of God whenever anyone eats, drinks, and enjoys all his efforts. I know that everything God does will last forever; there is no adding to it or taking from it. God works so that people will be in awe of him. Whatever is, has already been, and whatever will be, already is. However, God seeks justice for the persecuted.
We are the furthest from the warmth of God due to struggles in our lives. Maybe death, divorce, or loss of career.

We at this point are not seeking God for the sake of his blessings but condemnation.

Do we remember that the calendar changes as well as the seasons?
Will the spring renew our faith.
Georgia’s Spring/ winter
We have experienced a year’s worth of emotions and are seeing a glimpse of warmth but doesn’t last.

The Dry Season

Similar to Winter
You are not hearing God’s voice or don’t feel his presence.
Does this go against what I know about God.
Is there anything on my heart weighting me down or an un-confessed sin.
Waiting Season
Psalm 37:7 CSB
Be silent before the Lord and wait expectantly for him; do not be agitated by one who prospers in his way, by the person who carries out evil plans.
Christmas as a kid never easy waiting
God is working on you during this time. It is similar to fake spring in Georgia. You are being pruned to do great things for God.
Grinding Season
This is Spring for so many of us.
we work hard to complete all the Spring Cleaning and projects that we have waited all winter for.
Remember in this season to take a break and to pace yourself. Don’t be prideful
Test and Trials Season.
Most like Winter- you are going through hard times
Galatians 6:9 CSB
Let us not get tired of doing good, for we will reap at the proper time if we don’t give up.
Written by Paul
best practice is to keep your actions and focus on Jesus.
Spiritual Warfare Season
This is the Georgia first Spring
Satan is spiritually attacking you. You are doing something right that is why you are being attacked.
Ephesians 6:12 CSB
For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the cosmic powers of this darkness, against evil, spiritual forces in the heavens.
Go get your armour on.
The Happy Season
Summer
Life can’t be any better
Praising God is easiest during this season.
Psalm 103:1–5 CSB
My soul, bless the Lord, and all that is within me, bless his holy name. My soul, bless the Lord, and do not forget all his benefits. He forgives all your iniquity; he heals all your diseases. He redeems your life from the Pit; he crowns you with faithful love and compassion. He satisfies you with good things; your youth is renewed like the eagle.
