Palm Sunday presents the account of Jesus entering Jerusalem on a donkey. However, we don’t just use this passage because this event actually occurred a week before His death and resurrection…nor is it because of all the palm leaves! It serves as a timely reminder to reflect and ponder the question: Who is this Messiah, Jesus? Is He a nice guy who did a nice thing so we can live happy and comfortable lives? Is He a justice-crazed king who has come down to deliver vengeance on all who have wronged us? Or, is He someone quite different to anyone we have seen before?
