“More Than a Name”

“Four Men Without a Name”

Mark 2:1-12

These four unnamed men who were determined to get their paralyzed friend to Jesus and ask Jesus to heal him.

Surely each one of these men had needs of their own!

But they put aside their own desires and worries and banded together to help. As a team they were part of a miracle

I. Unselfish Compassion

1 Peter 4:8 “8 And above all things have fervent charity among yourselves: for charity shall cover the multitude of sins.”

ILL: We live in a selfish time. Just check and see how many selfies you have saved on your phone.

The Bible predicted this:

2 Timothy 3:1-2 “1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come. 2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,”
