The Holy Spirit is Here

1. He brings Divine guidance:

John 16:13–14 KJV

13 Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come. 14 He shall glorify me: for he shall receive of mine, and shall shew it unto you.

Eph 4:5-6 “5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.”

2. He brings Eternal Security:

John 14:16–17 KJV

16 And I will pray the Father, and he shall give you another Comforter, that he may abide with you for ever; 17 Even the Spirit of truth; whom the world cannot receive, because it seeth him not, neither knoweth him: but ye know him; for he dwelleth with you, and shall be in you.

3. He brings Accountability:

John 14:21 KJV

21 He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me: and he that loveth me shall be loved of my Father, and I will love him, and will manifest myself to him.

John 14:15 “ If ye love me, keep my commandments.”

Ps 119:11 “ Thy word have I hid in mine heart, that I might not sin against thee.”

Ps 119:2 “ Blessed are they that keep his testimonies, and that seek him with the whole heart.”

4. He brings discernment:

John 14:26 KJV

26 But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

Proverbs 2:6 “ For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.”

Ps 25:6 “ Remember, O LORD, thy tender mercies and thy lovingkindnesses; for they have been ever of old.”
