I Thirst

John 19:28 say that Jesus said I thirst I looked up the word Thirst in the text and i found n interesting thing. I found out that Thirst in the Greek vernacular is the word Dipsao. Dipsao is the realistic Desire of the kind of suffering Jesus was enduring for His Final refreshment. It was the last Physical request of our dying Savior. If I would have been there I would have given him some water.3x

They’ve got my Jesus between two criminals and with an inscription that say Jesus of Nazareth King of the Jews written in Hebrew, Latin, and Greek. They’ve got the King of Kings, The lord of Lords, The Alpha and the Omega The beginning and the Ending the First and the Last They’ve got the One who put the wet in water Here he is, Jesus is thirsty.

And Literally and figuratively I asked some questions. Literally I considered that Jesus is asking for more than Hyssop and vinegar . Literally I considered that Jesus may have been point toward all of the social needs of society wherein He wants us to have food our fitness our fashion and our shelter.It couldn’t be just physical things because Jesus said take no thought for your life but Seek ye first the kingdom of God and all of these physical social needs will be added unto you. So it couldn’t just be literal, it had to have also been spiritual. It was spiritual because all of heaven was thirsting for righteousness and the bible says Jesus As a lamb that had been slain before the foundations of the world said Father Mankind needs a kinsman Redeemer I’m go Down to planet earth and regenerate, reconcile. and redeem mankind back to you. I’ll be man’s propitiation I’ll take his place and be the suffering servant for the sins of the whole wide world. Jesus is thirsty as he looks at us and we forget to love one another as Christ has also loved us. Jesus is thirsty as he looks at us have malignant hate one for another. Jesus is thirsty as he Looks at us forgetting to help the least of these. Jesus is thirsty as he looks at mankind refuses to have a moral spiritual and ethical compass. Everything goes these days. Jesus is thirsty as He looks at us forget to Reverence God as the Only True and Living God the Maker and Supreme Ruler of Heaven and Earth. God said I’ll have no other god before Me. Jesus is thirsty as He looks at us have over 100 mass shoutings this year and it’s only the beginning of April.

Jesus is thirsty For Spiritual Renewal and Revival and Restoration. Brothers and sisters it’s time to get back to have a real relationship with the Lord because he one knows the day or the hour when the Lord shall call your soul away. I don’t know about you but I’ve got to speak for myself Great God yes When It’s His to call and mine to answer I want to be somewhere listen for name Oh Lord and I want to hear the Lord saying Servant Servant Servant Well Done. I want to be ready when He calls my name will you be ready when the Lord calls your name? If you know you’ll be ready when the Lord calls your name Let me hear say Yeah Yeah Yeah! The Lord has been good to me. Has he been good to you . Don’t fool me nah If the Lord’s been good to you tell somebody He’s been so good to me.
