Introduction

Tonight I am going to share some material that can protect your soul and spirit from every evil thing Satan might try to do to deceive you. The things I will share with you will prove to be very common and acceptable to most people. However, we will find that the Bible does not support certain types of leadership is unlawful. For, God has determined that our trust and confidence should be in Jesus Christ through the testimony of Scripture. Anything that disrupts this confidence is subject to ridicule and criticism as we shall do tonight.
False teachers or prophets are those who falsely claim to speak on behalf of God and souls astray.
Examples of False Prophets/ Teachers
Jeremiah 4:19-31; c.f. Jeremiah 6:13-14, 8:4-11.
Isaiah 30:8-11.
Jeremiah 14:11-16.
What do you call a group of people who follow a prophet or leader that God has not sin? The Bible calls it a cult.
