Note: We can go to churches that have beautiful sanctuaries , awesome choirs, the Preacher got the catchy phrases, they prophesy on your life but NO WORD, NO HEALTHY DOCTRINE.

Note: The Word of God is the believer’s SOURCE of life

Job 23:12 (KJV 1900)

12 Neither have I gone back from the commandment of his lips; I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food.

Matthew 4:4 (KJV 1900)

4 But he answered and said, It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.

Note: You see we will pray and don’t have no problem praying but we want STUDY God’s WORD.

Because studying God’s word is how God operates on us.

It’s thru God’s word that He REALLY gets to speak back to us

Note: But also the word of God should have the FIRST & FINAL authority in our LIFE.

Note: Now remember, the TRUTH is always rejected because the Devil don’t like TRUTH.

The word of God is like : RAIN, SNOW, WATER, NOURISHMENT, MILK, MEAT, FIRE, MIRROR, LAMP, HAMMER & SWORD

Note: So when you are praying you should ask God to let all of this attributes of the word be in your life.

Note: We should GROW in the word but not grow FROM the word. That’s why Peter says “ as NEWBORN babes “ the more the baby grows he/she grows away from the milk so Peter says stay in the word like a NEWBORN BABE.
