Tzav - Command

Opening reading: Leviticus 6:9 ““Command Aaron and his sons, saying, ‘This is the regulation of the burnt offering: The burnt offering must remain on the hearth on the altar all night until the morning, and the altar’s fire must be kept burning on it.”
Tzava - command / charge / order / appoint / commission / enjoin
To commission is to command. However, commission is also compensation for a task/service after it is completed. So, as we do what is commissioned to us, we get paid the commission of being enjoined with Him. Even the letters of the word “tzav” show us this. The first letter, tzadi, looks like an individual on his knees with his arms extended upwards as if he’s praising. And the second letter vav, looks like a scepter, showing favor. In the days of old, when you approach a king, you kneel and extend your arms before him. And if the king extends his sceptre to you, that means that he’s found favor in you and will allow you an audience with him. The pictograph shows a similar meaning. The tzadi is a hook, like a fishing hook and the vav is a nail or a peg. So when you are commissioned by Him, he hooks you like a fish, *remember, we are to be fishers of mens* and then He reels you in close to Him. And He establishes a peg so that you can’t be carried away by strange winds or waters. That’s the essence behind His commands. It’s to draw us nearer to Him and to fasten us together.
The burnt offerings were made of unblemished cattle, sheep, goats or doves. And they were to be completely burned up. The ashes were to be carried outside the camp to a clean place. The way I understand it, they weren’t just leaving jars of ash on the ground. They were most likely scattering them on the ground or burying them. This process helps with adding minerals back into the soil to keep it fertile and yielding nutritious produce. It’s interesting that the word used here for ash is “desen”. Desen means “choice produce, ie. what is produced and choice for consumption”, and “rich / fat - healthy” when used to describe people. So these ashes serve a great purpose. Not only do they aid in bringing health to the body and nourishment to the bones, as Proverbs 3 tells us, but they are also symbolic of Yeshua. After Yeshua was slain, his body was moved to a new tomb, that wasn’t defiled by another body, you can say it was ritually clean. He was the ultimate sin offering. As we see from verse 24 of this portion, the sin offering was to be eaten. It was unblemished, without sin. That is why we eat unleavened bread during Pesach. Just as we receive physical sustenance from eating nutrient rich food, when “eat His flesh”, we receive spiritual sustenance.
A little known fact, that is heavily concealed by the “healthcare” system is that the majority of ailments and diseases are caused by nutrient deficiency. Even if someone is healthy and lives a long life, when they die of old age, it is because of nutrient deficiency. Scientists and doctors have observed that the human body has the incredible capability of completely restoring itself, to the extent of perpetual youth, mitigating aging effects, if it’s properly nourished. We know the current world we live in and the people behind the satanic agenda for humanity is super dark and do everything they possibly can to destroy humanity. All of our food and is stripped of nutrients. Wood fires have been replaced by electricity and chemicals. Farmland is heavily regulated constantly being sprayed and pumped full of chemicals to strip its nutrient content and replace it with inflammation causing irritants. People have been conditioned into prioritizing “perfect” lawns over gardens and dump hundreds of gallons of chemicals into the land that they themselves live on for that vain result. It’s all completely backwards. It’s contrary to Torah and then people have the audacity to blame God for their problems. Crazy!
Another interesting thing regarding the moving of the ashes from outside the camp is that the priest has to take off his priestly garments and put on his other garments. Ezek 44:19 “...they must put on other garments, so that they will not make the people holy with their garments.”
Ezek 44:23 “And they will teach my people the difference between what is holy and what is unholy, and the difference between unclean and clean they must show them.”
That is what Yeshua did. He didn’t show up in priestly garments. She walked among the people in regular garments and taught them and showed them what is clean and unclean, what is holy and unholy. He was a living example of Tzav, what it means to be commissioned in order to receive the compensation of blessings. This is further evidenced by the NT portion.
In the NT portion, Yeshua is making it quite clear that it is our mindset and actions based thereon that impact our reality. Matthew 9:20-22 “...a woman who had been suffering with a hemorrhage twelve years approached from behind and touched the edge of his cloak, for she said to herself, “If only I touch his cloak I will be healed.” But Yeshua, turning around and seeing her, said, “Have courage, daughter! Your faith has healed you.” And the woman was healed from that hour.”
This is a multi-layered lesson. On a psychological level, this story can be interpreted as leaving the dungeon-mind. One of the weapons of the adversaries is fear, doubt and depression. Conditioning the mind to perceive everything through a lens of negativity. Our words and our thoughts have power. And what we express into your lives, has a tendency to manifest itself. *Water experiments* *Tumor case study* *Made in the image of God*
On another note, a lesson we get from this interaction between Yeshua and the woman is that His clothes wasn’t magical. His tzitzit weren’t magical. It was because the woman understood who He was and the power that is behind Him. And she believed and trusted that the power behind Him was the only redemptive force that exists. But as we see, believing wasn’t enough. It wasn’t until she actually got up and moved towards Him and stretched out her arm and grabbed hold of Him that she received what she believed in. And that is what faith is. Action based on your belief and trust. That is the true definition of being a worshiper of Spirit and Truth.
Worshipers of spirit may be alluding to having an understanding of things; a grasping of concepts. But an understanding alone is not enough to achieve results. To achieve results, a truth must be established. To establish a truth, one mustn’t merely hypothesize or theorize, but demonstrate. Hypotheses and theories aren’t true. They are presumed potentials. But in order to establish something as a truth, to cross-over from potential to reality, it must be demonstrated. And not only demonstrated, but have the consistent ability to be duplicated. How can one possibly be an apostle of anomaly? If the anomaly isn’t mirrored in the apostle, where is his credibility? As far as anyone is concerned, he’s a charlatan, looking for a cult following. There have been plenty of charlatans. But there was only 1 true Mashiach, and He has been consistently demonstrating this to us for thousands of years, since before the foundations of the world were laid.
Now the question is, what do we do now that a truth was established? We duplicate. Like it says in Leviticus 6:13 “A perpetual fire must be kept burning on the altar; it must not be quenched.”
We must keep the fire burning. We must always be eager and willing to walk through the fire and burn away all impurity. If we look at the guilt offering, it was the external fat that covered the organs and the organs themselves that were offered up on the fire. Another little known fact is that there are different versions of fear. One of the versions of fear is anxiety that stems from the brain, from our own understanding. Irrational fear, that is a result of our separation from Him. This results in unproductive reactions such as panic attacks which end up scrambling your cognitive and sensory perception into chaos. Interestingly enough, panic is derived from the Greek goat-god Pan that would let out a cry that would scare people and cause them to go into a frenzy. This kind is especially weaponized by the adversaries. They condition people into thinking that they are “educated” and then use their relying on their own understanding to fear-monger them into all sorts of control mechanisms.
Another form of fear is caution and intuition. Ever heard the phrase “I have a gut feeling”? That’s because that part of your mind operates within your guts. When you’re anticipating something, you generally feel uneasy in your guts. “Butterflies in my stomach” and stuff. And then when someone gives you a jump scare, you don’t have a stroke of the brain, you almost poop your pants. It’s gut related. That is what it means by having a fear of the Lord. Exercising discernment and not relying on your pride. Additionally, your guts are responsible for giving mental fortitude. “It took guts to do what he did.” To the extent of even offering a competitive edge and preservation of life. Your adrenal glands, responsible for the production of adrenaline, are in your kidneys. Adrenaline heightens your senses to give you a competitive edge when you need it and can also aid in preserving your life during physical trauma. And lastly, your guts are responsible for the fueling and cleansing of your body. Your liver and kidneys are your filtration system. Your intestines are your nutrient extraction and absorption systems. And the lower organs are responsible for getting rid of waste. All together, they work as your bodies discernment station. And we must always be discerning between what is right and what is wrong. Eat the meat, spit out the bones. And this only happens when we offer ourselves up to Him and submit to His instructions. And continually learn and seek knowledge and wisdom from Him. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom.
This ties in with leaven. Leaven represents sin. But what leaven does to bread is it causes bread to rise. It puffs it up. Similarly, when we rely on our own understanding, we become filled with pride. We get puffed up. The irony of the situation is that the higher you go, the less oxygen you get. Oxygen is required for fire to burn. So if you’re puffing yourself up and raising yourself up too high, you become detached from the fire. And eventually you’ll end up choking and will collapse. Matthew 23:12 “And whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and whoever humbles himself will be exalted.” So be grounded so that you can continually be refined by Him. And keep feeding the fire. Keep offering yourself up to be purified by His fire. That’s why the fat of the organs is not to be consumed but burned. The external fat is where toxins are stored by the body. This is symbolic of not double-dipping back into the sin but to release it from our lives. Double-dipping will just lead to your own destruction. A physical example of this: there’s a person that has been smoking cigarettes for many years. He also has a good amount of external fat on his body. He quits cigarettes and then a short while later decides to start going to the gym to lose weight. He goes on a really effective regimen and starts to lose a lot of weight really fast. What happens is as the fat dissolves, the toxins that were trapped in the fat start to go into his blood stream to be filtered out and exit as waste. However, he is losing so much weight so fast that his body gets overly flooded with the toxins and he ends up getting poisoned by his own toxins. Although his body was used to regular intake of toxins, in the fat cells, there is a much higher concentration of these toxins that end up poisoning the guy when they are released. It took him many years to build up that toxin count but he’s trying to achieve fast remedy. This can be likened to repentance. It’s a process, not a magical chant. But on the flip side, if he remains stagnant and doesn’t do anything about his weight, the toxins will remain in the fat cells and start to develop all kinds of tumors and inflammation, leading to serious ailments. So all of this is to say, that we shouldn’t bite off more than we can chew but take it one bite at a time. Follow the process. Bite, chew, discern, taste, swallow, repeat. Keep the fire burning continually.
This is one of the take-aways that I got from this Torah portion. It’s important for us to understand the significance behind these things. This is what the NT portion in Matthew is saying when it references: Hosea 6:6 “Because I desire steadfast love and not sacrifice, and knowledge of God rather than burnt offerings.”
If we truly learn the meaning behind the instructions of God and live them, then like Galatians 5:23 “... Against such things there is no law.” He doesn’t need our sacrifices, He wants a good relationship. A beautiful, 2-way, relationship of love reciprocated with love.
