Dedication, Paul is concerned about people’s dedication. Every person, regardless of their status must be supremely dedicated to the Lord. However, this dedication might look different for different people. For example, the ideal case is the single person, who can wholly dedicate themselves to the Lord. This is why singleness is to be preferred over married life. Nevertheless, this does not mean that people should not marry, for some people show their devotion to the Lord by being devoted to their wives.
