John 3:16 For God So Loved The World, That He Gave His Only Begotten Son, That Whoever Believes In Him, Shall Not Perish, But Have Eternal Life!

There are only 25 words in our English translation, and it is so simple a child or unlearned individual can hear it, believe it and obey it!

However, it is so profound that scholars have been examining it hundreds and hundreds of years and still have not exhausted the unsearchable riches that are available to be discovered!

III. It describes the greatest CHOICE ever REQUIRED!

3:16 . . . that whoever BELIEVES in Him

Acts 10:43 Of Him (Jesus), all the prophets bear witness that through His Name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins

God is clear, whoever believes in Jesus, receives the forgiveness of their sins!

What then, is the PROCESS of BELIEVING in JESUS?

It begins with:

A. Being CONVICTED of your SIN!

John 16:8 And He, when He comes, will convict the world concerning sin . . . concerning sin because they do not believe in Me!

It continues with:

B. Being AWARE of your GUILT!

James 2:10 For whoever keeps the whole law and yet stumbles in one point, he has become guilty of all

It draws you toward:

C. REPENTANCE in your SOUL!

IV. The Greatest PROMISE ever MADE!

3:16 . . . whoever believes in HIM shall not perish, but have eternal life!

Today, I am asking you if you are ready to activate The Greatest Promise Ever Made to mankind by confessing with your mouth what you believe in your heart?

Holy God, I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner by nature and my choices in life have confirmed my sinful nature!

You have said in Your Word that You love sinners just as they are, sin and all! So today, I bring my sin and guilt to You and ask You to forgive my sin and remove my guilt by grace through faith!

I CONFESS with my mouth JESUS as LORD and I BELIEVE in my heart He has been raised from the dead!

TODAY, I surrender my SOUL to YOU and REPENT as I BELIEVE the GOSPEL!

From This Day Forward I Put You First In My Life!

Lord, Today I will begin the rest of my new life in obedience to your Will and Word!

Anoint me with Holy Spirit and Fill me with His Presence and Power as I grow in my confidence in Your Will and Word . . . In Jesus Name!
