We Need The Gift Of Easter Because Of The Sin of Adam!

Doctrine of Original Sin!
When Adam sinned in Genesis 3, God sentenced all mankind to death as a result of the sin nature that is not passed down through all mankind.
The Curse of Eternal Death:
Because of the sin nature of mankind, we are not only sentenced to a physical death, but there is also a spiritual death. A separation from God because of Sin!
The Cure For Eternal Death is Jesus Christ and The Gift of Easter!

The Gift Of Easter Is A “FREE GIFT”!

Because of One Man’s Sin, Many Died. (vs. 15)
Because of One Man’s Obedience and Love, many live. (vs. 16 & 19)
The Obedience and Love of Christ gives us the opportunity for Justification in God’s Eyes.
God’s Love and Christ Obedience Makes The Free Gift Possible for All Mankind.
The Free Gift From God is much greater than our sin. It’s more powerful than any of the evil in our World.
When we receive the Free Gift that God makes available to us, we can overcome the sin of the world because He is greater than Sin!
1 John 4:4 ESV
4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world.

The Gift Of Easter Is A Free Gift That Brings:

Justification and Life

Righteousness Before God

The Grace of God

Ultimately The Free Gift Of Easter Is The Gift Of Eternal Life!

The Gift Is Jesus and His Life

The Gift Is Spoken of in John 3:16.

The Gift Is Given In Love

John 3:16–17 ESV
16 “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
Romans 5:8 ESV
8 but God shows his love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.
1 John 4:9–12 ESV
9 In this the love of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. 10 In this is love, not that we have loved God but that he loved us and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. 11 Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. 12 No one has ever seen God; if we love one another, God abides in us and his love is perfected in us.
