Jesus shows us what being a child of God looks like.

Jesus was righteous and innocent, and still trusting God.

When everyone’s head was spinning Jesus was in control and trusted his heavenly father.

With a loud voice so that all who were around could hear Jesus said

Luke 23:46 ESV

46 Then Jesus, calling out with a loud voice, said, “Father, into your hands I commit my spirit!” And having said this he breathed his last.

Jesus quotes Palm 31:5 which is a psalm of a righteous sufferer crying out for deliverance from enemies who are persecuting him.

innocent/righteous - Trusting

You and I are NOT innocent or righteous like Jesus but we can be trusting in our darkest moments.

Jesus last breath in a body like yours and mine ended with Trusting God.
