Resurrection sunday is about Growth to the entire world

John 3:16 ““For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.”
God sent jesus for the entire world and not part of the world
but for jesus ministry grow to reach the entire world
His winesses had to grow , Peter and we have to grow
but for growth something has to die
John 12:24 “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless a grain of wheat falls into the earth and dies, it remains alone; but if it dies, it bears much fruit.”
what had to die , Peter’s way of thinking it had to die
before he could grow , God had to change the his way of thinking
God wants to change peter’s way of thinking fo him to grow
) Peter understood that they must first become Jews and then Christians
That is to say, a Gentile would not have to become a Jew in order to become a Christian. Evidently Peter had not before perceived this fact
but God not only wants to change peters way of thinking but our way of thinking he wants us to grow
but for us to Grow we have to be able to take correction and instruction
Bible says in proverbs that a fool does not want to accept correction
Peter thought God was just for the Jewish nationality
or some may except think that God is just for the caucasion nationaliy or vice versa just for the african american nationaliy or hispanci
But the Resurrection was for the entire world.
God does not think Small my pastor used to say
why settle fora toothpick when God can give you the whole Lumber yard
We need to come out of our own way of thinking and think on Gods terms
we need to come out of our own circle of people we know and get out of our comfort zone
In the case of peter when he was thinking that God was just about the jewich people
He was implying that God was discriminating for nationality
But that is discrimianttion
this is a sin before God
but we see it today where we do the discrimination where one culture
We must make sure that all of us are not being Peter in some form or fashion
Peter was called by the Spirit to go to a Gentile house
which was considered beneath them
But do we practice discrimination unknowingly
like God calling us to go to a different nationality’s house lets say a caucasion going to a african american house hold and vice a versa afircan american going to a caucasian houselhold or a latin person going to a african american household and so on could you do it
In this case Peter was called to go to a Italian Nationality house whow was considered against the law for a Jew to go to a gentile
On a side note I dont have a problem goiing to my Italian brother B’s house no problem
But it is not only in the world but also in the churches
you have some only caucasion churches only african american churches or latin american churches and so on
now there are some where there are some african americans going to a caucasion pastor and this quite common where the people are going by the true spirit of God for God is with that pastor
But you rarely see caucasians go to a afican american pastor but I have seen it happen in nthe church that I came up in the heart of the neighborhood
and he came by the pure working of the spirit
elder thomas
Sadly this is why many of gone astray because there are cases
the flock follow because of culture and the sheep are led astray by a pastor where the spirit of God is not wtih them but the person chooses to stay there becuase of culture and tradition and does not grow
Two people two churches and same health condition but one goes to a church that practices deliverance and faith but the other does not and but preaches to get people in their emotions but no move of God in healing
the one person dies and the other one lives
What is most important your culture or your life
my people perish because of unbelief

Resurrection sunday is so that we can be acceptable to God

but how
by Fearing him and him alone
A HUNGER FOR GOD Cornelius demonstrated an amazing eagerness to know and obey God. He responded “immediately” to the vision given to him by God and expressed gratefulness to Peter for coming to tell him about God. He sensed God’s presence in the moment and demonstrated a receptive, teachable heart. Are you eager to hear from God and to do his will? Ask the Spirit of God to give you a thirst for himself. He must implant these holy desires within you. You cannot produce them in your own efforts or strength
Acts 10:30-33 “Cornelius said, “Four days ago to this hour, I was praying in my house during the ninth hour; and behold, a man stood before me in shining garments, and he said, ‘Cornelius, your prayer has been heard and your alms have been remembered before God. Therefore send to Joppa and invite Simon, who is also called Peter, to come to you; he is staying at the house of Simon the tanner by the sea.’ So I sent for you immediately, and you have been kind enough to come. Now then, we are all here present before God to hear all that you have been commanded by the Lord.””
and works righteousness
Two things make a person acceptable to God. Peter covered them both. 1. Fearing God (see note—Acts 9:31 for discussion).
2. Working righteousness (see note 5 and Deeper Study # 5, 6, Righteousness—
Mt. 5:6 ““Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be satisfied.”
a. There are those who stress being righteous and neglect doing righteousness.
This leads to two serious errors.
1) False security. It causes a person to stress that he is saved and acceptable to God because he has believed in Jesus Christ. But he neglects doing good and living as he should. He neglects obeying God and serving man.
2) Loose living. It allows one to go out and do pretty much as he desires. He feels secure and comfortable in his faith in Christ.
He knows that what he does may affect his fellowship with God and other believers, but he thinks his behavior will not affect his salvation.
He thinks that no matter what he does he is still acceptable to God.
The problem with this stress is that it is a false righteousness. Righteousness in the Bible means being righteous and doing righteousness.
But he neglects the basic law: the law of love and
. Again, righteousness in the Bible is both being righteous and doing righteousness.
The Bible knows nothing of being acceptable to God without being made righteous in Christ Jesus (see note 5 and Deeper Study # 5, 6—Mt. 5:6; Ro. 5:1 for
Acts 10:35 Acceptable to him (δεκτος αὐτῳ [dektos autōi]). Verbal adjective from δεχομαι [dechomai]. Acceptabilis. That is to say, a Gentile would not have to become a Jew in order to become a Christian. Evidently Peter had not before perceived this fact. On the great Day of Pentecost when he spoke of the promise “to all those afar off” (2:39) Peter understood that they must first become Jews and then Christians. The new idea that now makes a revolution in Peter’s outlook is precisely this that Christ can and will save Gentiles like this Cornelius group without their becoming Jews at all.

Resurrection sunday is about world peace through Jesus

if you want world peace it is only through Jesus
.36 The word which God sent unto the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ: (he is Lord of all:)
of all the
The word; the word of reconciliation betwixt God and man, not only betwixt God and the Jews, but betwixt him and the Gentiles also, he had sent unto Israel by his prophets formerly
. God is said to create peace to him that is afar off, the Gentile, as well as to him that is near, the Jew,
Isa. 57:19; and that salvation was not limited to the Jews only, Psal. 72:7, 8; Isa. 49:6, might be known unto them by the examples of Melchizedek, Job, and Naaman, who did no ways belong unto them; but this was now more manifest
: God preaching this peace betwixt himself and all nations indifferently,
1. By Christ in his own person preaching this, Matt. 8:11, and telling them that by his death he would draw all men unto him,
John 12:32 “And I, if I am lifted up from the earth, will draw all men to Myself.””
This peace is preached to be had by Christ, or only through Christ, by the angels themselves, Luke 2:14. And, 3.
By all the apostles and ministers of the gospel. Speaking to the Gentiles, St. Paul says, Ye who were afar off are made nigh by the blood of Christ, Eph. 2:13; and it was their constant doctrine, that there was no name under heaven by which men could be saved, but the name of Christ, chap. 4:12; and that it was all one whether they were Greeks or Jews, &c.,
Col: 2:12-15 “having been buried with Him in baptism, in which you were also raised up with Him through faith in the working of God, who raised Him from the dead. When you were dead in your transgressions and the uncircumcision of your flesh, He made you alive together with Him, having forgiven us all our transgressions, having canceled out the certificate of debt consisting of decrees against us, which was hostile to us; and He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross. When He had disarmed the rulers and authorities, He made a public display of them, having triumphed over them through Him.”
the prophets and the apostles. He is Lord of all; Christ is Lord, not of the Jews, or one people, only; but of the Gentiles, all nations, also, as Matt. 28:19, 20; Rom. 3:29. 37
That word, I say, ye know, which was published throughout all Judæa, and began from Galilee, after the baptism which John preached
