He Got Up!

Easter
Originally a Saxon word (Eostre), denoting a goddess of the Saxons, in honor of whom sacrifices were offered about the time of the Passover. Hence the name came to be given to the festival of the Resurrection of Christ, which occurred at the time of the Passover.
In the early English versions this word was frequently used as the translation of the Greek pascha (the Passover).
When the Authorized Version (1611) was made, the word "Passover" was used in all passages in which this word pascha occurred, except in Act 12:4. In the Revised Version the proper word, "Passover," is always used.

EASTER The special celebration of the resurrection at Easter is the oldest Christian festival, except for the weekly Sunday celebration. Although the exact date was in dispute and the specific observances of the festival developed over the centuries, it is clear that Easter had special significance to the early generations of Christians. Since Christ’s passion and resurrection occurred at the time of the Jewish Passover, the first Jewish Christians probably transformed their Passover observance into a celebration of the central events of their new faith. In the early centuries the annual observance was called the pascha, the Greek word for Passover, and focused on Christ as the paschal Lamb.

Although the NT does not give any account of a special observance of Easter and evidence from before A.D. 200 is scarce, the celebrations were probably well established in most churches by A.D. 100. The earliest observance probably consisted of a vigil beginning on Saturday evening and ending on Sunday morning and included remembrance of Christ’s crucifixion as well as the resurrection. Evidence from shortly after A.D. 200 shows that the climax of the vigil was the baptism of new Christians and the celebration of the Lord’s Supper. By about A.D. 300 most churches divided the original observance, devoting Good Friday to the crucifixion and Easter Sunday to the resurrection

Matthew 1:21 “21 And she will bring forth a Son, and you shall call His name Jesus, for He will save His people from their sins.””
I don’t have a particular text today, but Acts 17:1-6 provides a foundation on what God has given me to speak today, and declare The Gospel Of Christ Jesus to His People! Testifying about how The Passion Of Christ has given us an example that regardless of what these natural eyes see “All Things Are Working For My Good. . .”
Therefore, because I am encountering this test, this trial, these tribulations, these depressed states, this sickness, this loss of family members and friends - I realize that this an announcement to me, that I am on the right road now!
Someone may feel as if they are having too many announcements, and are ready for the test to be over and done with! I get that, me too - This is what the scripture says: 1 Peter 4:1-8 “1 Therefore, since Christ suffered for us in the flesh, arm yourselves also with the same mind, for he who has suffered in the flesh has ceased from sin, 2 that he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh for the lusts of men, but for the will of God. 3 For we have spent enough of our past lifetime in doing the will of the Gentiles—when we walked in lewdness, lusts, drunkenness, revelries, drinking parties, and abominable idolatries. 4 In regard to these, they think it strange that you do not run with them in the same flood of dissipation, speaking evil of you. 5 They will give an account to Him who is ready to judge the living and the dead. 6 For this reason the gospel was preached also to those who are dead, that they might be judged according to men in the flesh, but live according to God in the spirit. 7 But the end of all things is at hand; therefore be serious and watchful in your prayers. 8 And above all things have fervent love for one another, for “love will cov…”
How many of us have a perspective that your sufferings are an announcement of what God is about to do next?
Do you have a “Nevertheless” Word in you, faith in you, heart/mind in you, to continue on even when you know what is about to transpire ahead of you?
Because God has given His Word to go forth, What Will You Do With It? Christ has finished The Work - He has done it all for you and for me, and has provided us with His Testimony, which gives us an assurance that we win!
Do you continue on, regardless? Will you allow the natural to cause you to become defeated? I refuse to live defeated when He Got Up!
I refuse to not see Christ Jesus as our Risen Savior! He Said It - I Do It - That Settles It! They exchanged The Truth for their laws - John 19:7 “7 The Jews answered him, “We have a law, and according to our law He ought to die, because He made Himself the Son of God.””
Never will I allow my own thinking to overrule The Truth - What do you mean Pastor? I know what murphy says, but God says that He has The final say; therefore, murphy’s law may seem logical, but Christ came and disrupted the logic, and gave us the most illogical Victory through His Sufferings! “He made Himself A Son Of God. . .” Because you know who you are and proclaim This Victory in the earth, man will not approve of you because it does not follow their laws. . .
But be ye steadfast, immovable, always abounding in His Work - Peter said to arm yourself with the same mind and you will will not make a mistake with The Mind of Christ! Even in the times that you are in right now, Christ Still Reigns - Therefore, you still reign!
Psalm 16:8-11 “8 I have set the Lord always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. 9 Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoices; My flesh also will rest in hope. 10 For You will not leave my soul in Sheol, Nor will You allow Your Holy One to see corruption. 11 You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures forevermore.”
Because of His Presence, I have Full Joy - Therefore, I have a reason to celebrate this day because I realize that He Passed Over Me because of The Blood! I have The Keys Because of The Blood - What Are You Going To Do With It?
In His Presence is everything! There is Power In His Presence! There Is Healing in His Presence!
Revelation 1:17-18 “17 And when I saw Him, I fell at His feet as dead. But He laid His right hand on me, saying to me, “Do not be afraid; I am the First and the Last. 18 I am He who lives, and was dead, and behold, I am alive forevermore. Amen. And I have the keys of Hades and of Death.”
When they met Jesus after The Resurrection - He said John 20:17 “17 Jesus said to her, “Do not cling to Me, for I have not yet ascended to My Father; but go to My brethren and say to them, ‘I am ascending to My Father and your Father, and to My God and your God.’ ””
Everything Christ The Messiah endured had to be done to fulfill the Scriptures because God cannot lie - Therefore, He said; “I Thirst. . .” that the scripture might be fulfilled - and the gave him sour wine on hyssop (a plant springing from the wall)
Then He Said “It Is Finished”
