Last Prayer of Jesus from the Cross

Not conclusion but precursor to Jesus’ Grand Finale ..He has to Die, Be Buried in a tomb and raise from the dead

I don’t mind going in if i know i’m coming out (Your coming Out)

This Last Prayer from the cross is Literally Borrowed Words

As I studied span Jesus’ Life what i found to be Intriguing is, the things he borrowed

When he was born there was no room in the inn so he had to borrow a dirty manger to be born

Because his earthy parents were on the run to try to save baby Jesus from Herods clutches, There Was No Gender Reveal, No Baby Shower, so he didn’t have no onesy, no receiving blanket or no pampers so they wrapped Baby Jesus in Borrowed clothes

When he became and adult and began his ministry he didn’t have no big budget and his ministry was a traveling ministry so he had to Borrow Simon later called Peter’s Boat

And here on the cross his last words and his last prayer is borrowed from his predecessor King David (Psalm 31:5;)

And when they take him off the cross they lay him in a Borrowed tomb

And can I suggest that out of all the things Jesus had to borrow externally he never had to borrow any internal things

John 6:27 says labor not for that which perishes but rather for that which was eternal

So Jesus wasn’t caught up in the glitz and glam, he was about souls. So he didn’t have a lot of external resources but he had internal resources.

John 1:14 says he was full of internal resources, things money can’t but, So He didn’t Have To Borrow Commitment - Dedication

Jesus showed how commited he was when he accepted the assignment to come to earth to die fore our sins

In the Wilderness when the devil tried to sabotage his assignment

in Gethsemani when his humanity was desirous of a way out He listened to the Spirit

when they came to arrest him he could have called a legion of angels but he stayed the course and stayed commited

ONE THING THAT I LEARNED IS THAT IF THER IS ONE THING THAT WILL GET UNDER YOU SKIN, RAISE YOUR BLOOD PRESSURE AND IF THERE IS A SUCH THING AS A LAST NERVE, THEY WILL GET ON IT I’M TALKING ABOUT UNCOMMITTED PEOPLE
