Main Idea/Theme: The ultimate goal of God’s Providence is the exaltation of His Son, Jesus Christ: first in His being lifted up on the cross for sinners; second in His resurrection and ascension to the right hand of the Father; and third in His glorious return to save His people and judge His enemies.
