Sunday School Lesson Serpent Seed:

Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Matthew 13:3

3 And he spake many things unto them in parables, saying, Behold, a sower went forth to sow;

4 And when he sowed, some seeds fell by the way side, and the fowls came and devoured them up:

5 Some fell upon stony places, where they had not much earth: and forthwith they sprung up, because they had no deepness of earth:

6 And when the sun was up, they were scorched; and because they had no root, they withered away.

7 And some fell among thorns; and the thorns sprung up, and choked them:

8 But other fell into good ground, and brought forth fruit, some an hundredfold, some sixtyfold, some thirtyfold.

9 Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

10 And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?

11 He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

12 For whosoever hath, to him shall be given, and he shall have more abundance: but whosoever hath not, from him shall be taken away even that he hath.

Therefore speak I to them in parables: because they seeing see not; and hearing they hear not, neither do they understand.

The disciples didn’t understand the parables of Christ. They also didn’t understand the Old Testament prophecies like Genesis 3:15. Many believe that Christ was explaining them here. Starting in verse 36 still in Matthew 13

36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away, and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field.

37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one;

39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 As therefore the tares are gathered and burned in the fire; so shall it be in the end of this world.

41 The Son of man shall send forth his angels, and they shall gather out of his kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity;

42 And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

43 Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Now let me say this is a VERY controversial subject. Most Christians have never even heard of this teaching. Even bible scholars haven’t heard of it. Most main stream scholars reject this teaching as being unchristian or unbiblical. But those who know me, know that when I am studying the bible, I leave no stone unturned. So, the purpose of this morning’s study isn’t to say to you this is what the bible teaches. The purpose is to wet your whistle. To get you interested in studying this subject or any other bible subject. I want this study to be interactive. I want you to feel free to speak up and to participate.

So, is this seed line a spiritual seed line? Or is it a physical one? Are there people in this world who are the devils’ children just as there are people in this world who are God’s children? I want us to look at ALL sides of this issue and decide for ourselves.

I think the first prophecy of the entire bible deserves to be studied. Don’t you? Can it be as simple as bad people are the devils’ children? Or can there be people out there who are literally the devil’s children?

Remember Satan loves it when we fail to expose Him. Do we accept that Jesus came through the line of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob? I think so. So, what of this serpent seed? Is it also literal? That is for you to decide.

Luke 3:38 tells us about the genealogy of Christ.

Which was the son of Enos, which was the son of Seth, which was the son of Adam, which was the son of God.

Look at Luke 11:52

Woe unto you, lawyers! for ye have taken away the key of knowledge: ye entered not in yourselves, and them that were entering in ye hindered.

Now again. If the woman’s seed gave us Christ. What then did the serpents side give us?

Let’s look at the opposition to the teaching of the serpent seed. Genesis 4:1

And Adam knew Eve his wife; and she conceived, and bare Cain, and said, I have gotten a man from the Lord.

Those who reject the serpent seed teaching say that Adam knew his wife and that is how Cain was born. But is it that simple? There are those who claim that the word Lord in the Old Testament is a mistranslation. That the word Lord translates as either Yahweh or Baal. Yahweh being God and Baal being the devil. And some translations translate the word here as Yahweh and others translate it as Baal. So, no help there. We must take a closer look at this. Look in verse 2. It says that Eve continued in labor.

And she again bare his brother Abel. And Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a tiller of the ground.

This would make Cain and Abel twins. But were they both Adams kids? Is it possible to have twins by two different fathers? Understand that the bible isn’t completely the same in the Hebrew as it is in English. Once you start studying bible languages you really begin to see this fact. Often the translators put their biases into our modern translations. This happened with the King James Version as well. There is so much lost in translation that any translator has to add phrases for English speaking people to connect the dots.

Could there have been two conceptions? Lets go back and look at Genesis 3:15

And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Could this verse be saying there are two seeds which would require two conceptions?

This still happens today. If a woman mates with two different men during the right time she can conceive two kids. Today the medical world refers to this as

Superfecundation

Multiple births from different fathers

Superfecundation is the fertilization of two or more ova from the same cycle by sperm from separate acts of sexual intercourse, which can lead to twin babies from two separate biological fathers. The term superfecundation is derived from fecund, meaning the ability to produce offspring.

Now I know what many of you are thinking. Wait, I thought that Eve’s sin was just eating an apple? Well, let’s take a closer look at Genesis. Look back at Genesis 3:3

But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.

How many have a Strong’s concordance with your bibles this morning? If so, there should be a series of numbers next to the word touch. Anyone have those numbers there in their bibles? The letters should be 5060. Ok I’ll show you in mine.

Now here is a good question to ask yourself. If Eve’s sin wasn’t sexual in nature. Then why was she cursed to bring forth children in sorrow?

What does Cain do that proves his hatred for Eve’s seed? He murders Abel. Right? Again, this seems to indicate that Cain is the devil’s child and not Adams. His hatred for Abel began immediately.

It is also important to remember that the word serpent is more accurately translated as “enchanter” An enchanter is someone who casts spells on others. Now the bible refers to this enchanter as a snake. The word Nakash can mean serpent or enchanter. It has a dual meaning. But the word serpent uses here is like calling someone a snake in the grass today. They are not literally snakes. You are saying that they are not a good person. The serpent then would be the symbol of these children. Right? How many symbols in this world are of serpents and dragons? Think about it. It all means something.

1 John 3:12

Not as Cain, who was of that wicked one, and slew his brother. And wherefore slew he him? Because his own works were evil, and his brother's righteous.

Could there be people in the world who pretend to be Hebrews but are not? Look at Matthew 23:29-33 KJV

29 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! because ye build the tombs of the prophets, and garnish the sepulchres of the righteous,

30 And say, If we had been in the days of our fathers, we would not have been partakers with them in the blood of the prophets.

31 Wherefore ye be witnesses unto yourselves, that ye are the children of them which killed the prophets.

32 Fill ye up then the measure of your fathers.

33 Ye serpents, ye generation of vipers, how can ye escape the damnation of hell?

Now these Pharisees refer to themselves as Hebrews. I don’t generally use the word Jew because it isn’t really a bible word. There is no J in Hebrew or Greek. And more often the word should be translated as either Idumean or Yudean. Or in modern language a Judean. But these religious Pharisees were claiming to be Abrahams children. But Jesus says that they murdered the prophets and they were serpents. Now does that word serpent sound familiar. Who were these people who Christ was talking too here?

Again, keep in mind that Cain isn’t listed anywhere in the genealogies as being the children of Adam.

What is the measure of the fathers? To call for the crucifixion of Christ from Genesis 3:15.

Jesus continues in verse 34

34 Wherefore, behold, I send unto you prophets, and wise men, and scribes: and some of them ye shall kill and crucify; and some of them shall ye scourge in your synagogues, and persecute them from city to city:

35 That upon you may come all the righteous blood shed upon the earth, from the blood of righteous Abel unto the blood of Zacharias son of Barachias, whom ye slew between the temple and the altar.

36 Verily I say unto you, All these things shall come upon this generation.

37 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that killest the prophets, and stonest them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathereth her chickens under her wings, and ye would not!

Who killed Abel? Is Jesus accusing them of being Cains children? The word generation here means race. Not in the sense of black, white, Asian. But in the sense of the devils’ children. They are a family. A family tree. Many believe that they have mixed in with all races today. Just as today Gods seed can be any race today.

Galatians 3:26

26 For ye are all the children of God by faith in Christ Jesus.

27 For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.

28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.

29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

If this serpent seed doctrine is true. Then we would have to look back at every single war ever fought and ask ourselves. Is there a side that fights for the serpent and a side that fights for God? Could all wars be nothing more than this? What about the ongoing fight between democracy and communism? Could the communists be the serpent seed? Who are these communists? It is a fascinating study to look into communism and the blood lines of the communist who murdered 66 million Christians in Russia under Joseph Stalin. And Stalin isn’t his real name.

So, is this a crazy teaching?

You have Adam and Eve standing before God in shame covering themselves with fig leaves. Then for the first time you have childbirth. Remember the serpents’ words. You shall be as gods knowing good and evil. What does God do? He creates life. After the seduction of Eve what did she do? For the first time mankind was able to make life. Then the murder of Abel by Cain. Isn’t that the same hatred or enmity that God told us would happen? Does the bible and even the world make more sense to us now to know that there is this ongoing war between seed lines that are good and evil?

People often ask me. Why did God command Israel to kill every man woman and child that was a Canaanite? Well, the Canaanites were murdering their own babies. Sacrificing them to Moloch or Satan. The bible calls them vampires. Meaning they were kidnaping Christian children and sacrificing them for their Passover. Putting their blood into their Matza balls. Ever heard of Jeffrey Epstein? What was he doing? Kidnaping children and turning them into prostitutes and sacrificing them to Satan on Epstein island.

It's something to think about. Look at Genesis 4:25

And Adam knew his wife again; and she bare a son, and called his name Seth: For God, said she, hath appointed me another seed instead of Abel, whom Cain slew.

So, Cain was NEVER considered a son of Adams. How consistent is the bible? If you recall Jacob was the second son and Esau was the first born. But the promise went to Jacob. That is the bible repeating for us the lesson that the first born is not always the promised seed. Sometimes it is the second born. Now Esau is way more important to our understanding of bible prophecy than most people realize.

The bible says twice that God hated Esau. He says it in the Old Testament and repeats it in the book of Romans. Why did God hate Esau? Well, Esau sold his birthright and gave away his blessing. On top of that Esau married not just one but four Hittite women. And Hittites were the descendants of Cain. Look with me to Ezra 9.

Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

2 For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

3 And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied.

Why is Ezra so angry? Why is he lamenting and pulling his hair out? Because Israel was the seed of God. And they had mingled themselves with the seed of the serpent. And who was chief in this trespass? Esau. The man who was supposed to carry on the promise of the seed line of Christ. Mated with the children of the serpent.

What would these descendants be like? Well, they would be Abraham’s seed, right? And they would also be the serpents seed? Anyone fit this description in the bible?

John 10

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that entereth not by the door into the sheepfold, but climbeth up some other way, the same is a thief and a robber.

2 But he that entereth in by the door is the shepherd of the sheep.

3 To him the porter openeth; and the sheep hear his voice: and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out.

4 And when he putteth forth his own sheep, he goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.

5 And a stranger will they not follow, but will flee from him: for they know not the voice of strangers.

6 This parable spake Jesus unto them: but they understood not what things they were which he spake unto them.

7 Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep.

8 All that ever came before me are thieves and robbers: but the sheep did not hear them.

9 I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture.

10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

11 I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep.

12 But he that is an hireling, and not the shepherd, whose own the sheep are not, seeth the wolf coming, and leaveth the sheep, and fleeth: and the wolf catcheth them, and scattereth the sheep.

13 The hireling fleeth, because he is an hireling, and careth not for the sheep.

14 I am the good shepherd, and know my sheep, and am known of mine.

15 As the Father knoweth me, even so know I the Father: and I lay down my life for the sheep.

16 And other sheep I have, which are not of this fold: them also I must bring, and they shall hear my voice; and there shall be one fold, and one shepherd.

17 Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.

18 No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father.

19 There was a division therefore again among the Jews for these sayings.

20 And many of them said, He hath a devil, and is mad; why hear ye him?

21 Others said, These are not the words of him that hath a devil. Can a devil open the eyes of the blind?

22 And it was at Jerusalem the feast of the dedication, and it was winter.

23 And Jesus walked in the temple in Solomon's porch.

24 Then came the Jews round about him, and said unto him, How long dost thou make us to doubt? If thou be the Christ, tell us plainly.

25 Jesus answered them, I told you, and ye believed not: the works that I do in my Father's name, they bear witness of me.

26 But ye believe not, because ye are not of my sheep, as I said unto you.

27 My sheep hear my voice, and I know them, and they follow me:

28 And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand.

29 My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand.

30 I and my Father are one.

31 Then the Jews took up stones again to stone him.

32 Jesus answered them, Many good works have I shewed you from my Father; for which of those works do ye stone me?

Did Jesus just tell the Jews that they were NOT his sheep? Sounds like it to me. Turn to John 8:36

36 If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

37 I know that ye are Abraham's seed; but ye seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.

38 I speak that which I have seen with my Father: and ye do that which ye have seen with your father.

39 They answered and said unto him, Abraham is our father. Jesus saith unto them, If ye were Abraham's children, ye would do the works of Abraham.

40 But now ye seek to kill me, a man that hath told you the truth, which I have heard of God: this did not Abraham.

41 Ye do the deeds of your father. Then said they to him, We be not born of fornication; we have one Father, even God.

42 Jesus said unto them, If God were your Father, ye would love me: for I proceeded forth and came from God; neither came I of myself, but he sent me.

43 Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it.

45 And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not.

46 Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

47 He that is of God heareth God's words: ye therefore hear them not, because ye are not of God.

48 Then answered the Jews, and said unto him, Say we not well that thou art a Samaritan, and hast a devil?

When the Jews accused Christ of being a Samaritan, they were saying that He was an Israelite. Samaria was the capital of Israel. Why didn’t they refer to Him as a Jew? The capital of Judah was Judea.

Turn to Revelation 2:9

9 I know thy works, and tribulation, and poverty, (but thou art rich) and I know the blasphemy of them which say they are Jews, and are not, but are the synagogue of Satan.

Now Revelation 3:9

Behold, I will make them of the synagogue of Satan, which say they are Jews, and are not, but do lie; behold, I will make them to come and worship before thy feet, and to know that I have loved thee.

It is important to remember that Israel was a person. God changed Jacob’s name to Israel just as He changed Abram’s name to Abraham. And true Israel is the people who are related to Jacob. It is not a place on a map. Now the seed of Esau and the seed of Jacob fought over Israel. But one of those are not true Judeans or Jews. Are the people in Israel today, Hebrews? That is a very important question for anyone who wants to understand real bible prophecy.

Back to the parable of the tares and the wheat. Matthew 13:24

24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servants of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, An enemy hath done this. The servants said unto him, Wilt thou then that we go and gather them up?

29 But he said, Nay; lest while ye gather up the tares, ye root up also the wheat with them.

30 Let both grow together until the harvest: and in the time of harvest I will say to the reapers, Gather ye together first the tares, and bind them in bundles to burn them: but gather the wheat into my barn.

So, tares are those sown by the serpent. Right? The good seed is the seed of the woman. Right? The enemy is Satan.

Tares and wheat look exactly the same from seedling until the time of Harvest. Once harvest time comes then you can tell the difference. But not until then. In other words, we cannot know the difference today. Except by their works. But we are not supposed to pick the tares because, though it is hard for us to understand, God is using them for His purpose. Jesus knew the difference but we don’t.

To me this is a very interesting study. Does the devil have children in this world? Did they crucify Christ? Who was it that crucified Christ?

Psalm 22:15,16

15 My strength is dried up like a potsherd; and my tongue cleaveth to my jaws; and thou hast brought me into the dust of death.

16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.

Who are these dogs surrounding Christ at his crucifixion?

Matthew 15:22-28

22 And, behold, a woman of Canaan came out of the same coasts, and cried unto him, saying, Have mercy on me, O Lord, thou son of David; my daughter is grievously vexed with a devil.

23 But he answered her not a word. And his disciples came and besought him, saying, Send her away; for she crieth after us.

24 But he answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

25 Then came she and worshipped him, saying, Lord, help me.

26 But he answered and said, It is not meet to take the children's bread, and to cast it to dogs.

27 And she said, Truth, Lord: yet the dogs eat of the crumbs which fall from their masters' table.

28 Then Jesus answered and said unto her, O woman, great is thy faith: be it unto thee even as thou wilt. And her daughter was made whole from that very hour.

What is a dog? We call them Canine’s, right? Canaanite? When you take the A’s out of the word Canaan what is left? CNN.

Mainstream religion will reject this teaching. Are they right to do so? Well, you have the tools now to research this on your own and to draw your own conclusions. There is no mystery to the fact that there are bad people. Why would Jesus speak in parables to explain something that wasn’t deep and profound?

Matthew 13:36
