I. The Burial
I. The Burial
42 And now when the even was come, because it was the preparation, that is, the day before the sabbath,
43 Joseph of Arimathaea, an honourable counseller, which also waited for the kingdom of God, came, and went in boldly unto Pilate, and craved the body of Jesus.
44 And Pilate marvelled if he were already dead: and calling unto him the centurion, he asked him whether he had been any while dead.
45 And when he knew it of the centurion, he gave the body to Joseph.
46 And he bought fine linen, and took him down, and wrapped him in the linen, and laid him in a sepulchre which was hewn out of a rock, and rolled a stone unto the door of the sepulchre.
47 And Mary Magdalene and Mary the mother of Joses beheld where he was laid.

II. The Tomb
II. The Tomb
14 Forasmuch then as the children are partakers of flesh and blood, he also himself likewise took part of the same; that through death he might destroy him that had the power of death, that is, the devil;
15 And deliver them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.
16 For verily he took not on him the nature of angels; but he took on him the seed of Abraham
The Holy Bible: King James Version, Electronic Edition of the 1900 Authorized Version. (Bellingham, WA: Logos Research Systems, Inc., 2009), Heb 2:14–16.
18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:
19 By which also he went and preached unto the spirits in prison;
20 Which sometime were disobedient, when once the longsuffering of God waited in the days of Noah, while the ark was a preparing, wherein few, that is, eight souls were saved by water

III. The Resurrection
III. The Resurrection
1 And when the sabbath was past, cMary Magdalene, and Mary the mother of James, and Salome, had bought sweet spices, that they might come and anoint him.
2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulchre fat the rising of the sun.
3 And they said among themselves, Who shall roll us away the stone from the door of the sepulchre?
4 And when they looked, they saw that the stone was rolled away: for it was very great.
5 And entering into the sepulchre, they saw a young man sitting on the right side, clothed in a long white garment; and they were affrighted.
6 And he saith unto them, Be not affrighted: Ye seek Jesus of Nazareth, which was crucified: he is risen; he is not here: behold the place where they laid him.
7 But go your way, tell his disciples and Peter that he goeth before you into Galilee: there shall ye see him, as he said unto you.
8 And they went out quickly, and fled from the sepulchre; for they trembled and were amazed: neither said they any thing to any man; for they were afraid.
9 Now when Jesus was risen early the first day of the week, he appeared first to Mary Magdalene, out of whom he had cast seven devils.
10 And she went and told them that had been with him, as they mourned and wept.
11 And they, when they had heard that he was alive, and had been seen of her, believed not.

-The planks are connected to the frame to form a hull
-Keel at the bottom ridge
-He wanted to do it right
-He painted it red, white, and blue like our flag
-He really wanted it to be his
-Put a special mark on the bottom
(SLIDE 3)
- He’d take it into the water and play with it
-He found a special spot to sail it at
- He tied a little rope to it so he could hold on to it and not lose it
(SLIDE 4)
-Bruce loved his little boat
-he played with it for hours
-One day he was playing with it….
(SLIDE 5)

-He got an idea
-He went home and got a job
-He spent a whole week working as hard as he possibly could
-After the week was over, he had enough
(SLIDE 8)
-His dad took him into the shop to buy the boat
-Bruce was so happy
-He held the boat up and started crying
(SLIDE 9)
-He said,” Little boat, you are really twice mine now. You are mine because I made you, and mine because I bought you.”
-You see kids, we are kind of like that little boat. We were created. Now, if we were created there had to be someone who created us. It was God. He created us with dust and his own breath. He loved us. But you see, we got lost. We ate of the tree that God told us we shouldn’t eat of. Because of this each one of us have a terrible disease called sin. We are born lost. But God sent his only son to die on a cross for our disease. He paid the price.
We should be committed to Jesus because he loves us. He loves us so much that he was willing to pay a very high price so he could own us and be with us again.
Salvation Plan
Salvation Plan
visual- Evangecube
1.) Man was separated from God because of sin. When Adam and Eve sinned, they sinned against God, and it separated man from God.
2.) Jesus died on the cross to pay the ultimate punishment for our sin. Like I said “The wages of sin is death”. Jesus paid for that.
3.) He was buried for three days.
4.) He rose again. We talked about it today. Jesus came back from the dead.
5.) The payment Jesus paid on the cross provides a way for us to get to heaven.
6.) You have to ask God for the gift of salvation. How do we talk to God? We talk to God through prayer. You have to pray and ask God for salvation.
