3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
4 In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
5 For we preach not ourselves, but Christ Jesus the Lord; and ourselves your servants for Jesus’ sake.
6 For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ.
THE GOSPEL
This is the church’s prerogative
Are there many paths to heaven
Do our feelings matter
Is our opinion important when it comes to our preferences
Narrow is the way
Broad is the way
6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.
One Way - through Jesus
We are sinners - all of us
Is no saving ourselves
We’re not good enough
God Loves us
He sent Jesus
Jesus died for the Whole world
It’s not an election in the sense that there
You could’t take the wrath of God
You couldn’t do enough good works
You must believe in Christ
You must accept Him
When you accept the Gospel message
When you repent
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
Mercy has been given unto me
God has ministered mercy to me and others need that message of mercy
There is such motivation
3 But if our gospel be hid, it is hid to them that are lost:
The gospel is hidden to them that are lost
The world is growing increasingly dark and we must allow the gospel to be seen through us
As the Gospel is being preached to the world there is a force that is working against the message of the Gospel being preached
The Gospel is a weapon
You are preaching into a world that
The world is following the prince of the power of the air
Luk 8:5 A sower went out to sow his seed: and as he sowed, some fell by the way side; and it was trodden down, and the fowls of the air devoured it.
Rom 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
The Gospel always preforms the way it is supposed to

27 Only let your conversation be as it becometh the gospel of Christ: that whether I come and see you, or else be absent, I may hear of your affairs, that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind striving together for the faith of the gospel;

Satan is actively working to prevent the gospel in reaching the hearts of boys, girls, men and women
Faith is the substance of things not seen
There is an intense battle going on in the unseen realm
The gospel is not something we are selling
it’s not our personality
It’s not our charisma
We are not convincing them by our wisdom
We need to be prayerful
Holy Ghost filled
The devil doesn’t want them to leave his family
The attack will intensify when the enemy is expecting damage to the kingdom of darkness.
We not only should be sharing the gospel but living the gospel
The gospel
The devil has waged war against God’s people
21 I beheld, and the same horn made war with the saints, and prevailed against them;
25 And he shall speak great words against the most High, and shall wear out the saints of the most High, and think to change times and laws: and they shall be given into his hand until a time and times and the dividing of time.
12 Therefore rejoice, ye heavens, and ye that dwell in them. Woe to the inhabiters of the earth and of the sea! for the devil is come down unto you, having great wrath, because he knoweth that he hath but a short time.
17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.
The apostle Paul described our ministry
1 Therefore seeing we have this ministry, as we have received mercy, we faint not;
WE have a ministry of mercy and the enemy is going to fight against you
18 To open their eyes, and to turn them from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins, and inheritance among them which are sanctified by faith that is in me.
19 Whereupon, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision:
This is a battle
When we went out yesterday to share the Gospel
We worshipped the Lord in prayer
We asked the Lord to do His will
Salvation is a work of God
Salvation is a work of God that has been given to the saints, we here, to work in
We are an army of warriors battling for the souls of men women boys and girls
We wrestle not against flesh and blood, when we are speaking to others about the gospel
We are to care about their eternity

the old
the rich
the addict

Are we warring in prayer for lost souls?
We pray for the lost
We pray against the enemy
open souls to the gospel
Allow the light of the glorious gospel to reach their hearts and mind
