04/09/23-Believing: A Sermon for Easter Sunday

The Disciples learned that Jesus came first to be the Suffering Messiah, not the Victorious Messiah who would deliver them from all of their enemies. We, too, need to come to Him in repentance, recognizing that we need the Suffering Jesus to save us from our sin, not simply save us from our circumstances. We follow Him in faith so that we can endure suffering, expecting enduring joy when He returns.
