I.        You will not lack because the Lord is your providing Shepherd (Psalm 23:1-5)

A.     The Lord provides spiritual nourishment (Ps. 23:1-2)

1.      He makes me to lie down in green pastures

2.      He leads me beside the still waters.

B.     The Lord provides restoration. (Ps. 23:3)

1.      The Lord restores your soul. (Ps. 23:3)

2.      The Lord leads you into righteous paths. (Ps. 23:3)

C.     The Lord provides comfort and protection during tribulation. (Ps. 23:4)

1.      You won’t fear evil in times of tribulation. (Ps. 23:4)

a)      You will face tribulation in life.

b)      You will not need to fear.

2.      The Lord provides comfort and protection. (Ps. 23:4)

a)      The Lord is with you.

b)      The Lord’s rod and staff will comfort you.

D.     The Lord provides abundantly. (Ps. 23:5)

1.      The Lord provides in the midst of your enemies. (Ps. 23:5)

2.      The Lord anoints you. (Ps. 23:5)

3.      The Lord’s provision will be overflowing. (Ps. 23:5)

II.     You will be blessed for all of your life. (Psalm. 23:6)

A.     Goodness and mercy shall follow you everyday. (Ps. 23:6)

B.     You will dwell in the house of the Lord forever. (Ps. 23:6)
