                             VBS LIST  (FROM REGISTRATION FORMS)

THOSE WHO ALREADY HAVE A CHURCH---20 FAMILIES

Judy Vest’s grandson, Jeremiah & Nicole’s daughter and Ruby Myers grandkids are included in this group.

THOSE WHO HAVE BEEN ATTENDING SHCC PRIOR TO VBS OR ARE INTERESTED IN ATTENDING

Climer children---Ruby Climer and her husband now have custody of these children.  They attended some just prior to VBS.  I have visited with them and they are interested in attending.  Ruby attended SHCC years ago—around the time of Don Renkin’s ministry.

Myers children---Friends of Steve & Jada Matthis.  Kaleb is a handicap child.  I visited with the mom, Kristie during VBS.  She is interested in attending SHCC.  She is Methodist background and her husband is Catholic background.

Soum—Tonya has already been attending SHCC. She is one of the MOPS directors.  Becky & I have visited with her and I have given her the “What We Believe” series to watch.  Lenita is also doing a Bible study with her.  Her husband, Brian, is not interested in church.  Brian works at Copeland.

Schaubroeck---Friend of Tonia Baker---Mom works at Durham & Mark S. is to follow-up on this family.

Palilla---This family lives at Camdenton.  Same was to follow-up on this family—but I believe this family is friends of Nichols.  When they lived in Lebanon they did attend briefly.

Robertson---The mom, Laura, is friend of Cherry Wilson. She has already attended SHCC with Cherry.  Cherry indicated it would be good to call or visit her but we did not have any information on her prior to VBS.

Schnitzer---I talked with the mom and this family does not have a church home and seemed very interested in coming to SHCC.  She said she and the kids would try to come on 9/7.

Farris---I talked with the mom.  She works at Gaslight and so her job makes it hard for her to attend.  However, I encouraged her to come to a small group and that she could still come to the Sunday worship hour and still make work—she goes in at 2pm.

VBS is obviously not the outreach tool it used to be in the past.  However, it does provide an exciting week for our kids plus friends of our kids.  Like any other event or program it is not always easy to weight the full impact.
