Palm Sunday marks the beginning of the Passion Week. Throughout this next week we pay special attention to those days that led up to the culmination of Christ’s earthly ministry—his cross work and resurrection. As you, perhaps, take some time this weekend to read the gospel accounts (e.g. Mark 11:1-10), you’ll find an Old Testament quotation that we’ll spend more time on this Sunday, calling us to recognize our need of salvation and to call upon the LORD to save us.
