Luke 24:1–8 (KJV 1900)
1 Now upon the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they came unto the sepulchre, bringing the spices which they had prepared, and certain others with them. 2 And they found the stone rolled away from the sepulchre. 3 And they entered in, and found not the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it came to pass, as they were much perplexed thereabout, behold, two men stood by them in shining garments: 5 And as they were afraid, and bowed down their faces to the earth, they said unto them, Why seek ye the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen: remember how he spake unto you when he was yet in Galilee, 7 Saying, The Son of man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again. 8 And they remembered his words,
WE MUST HAVE A REVELATION OF THE RESURRECTION OF CHRIST
No other faith claim that they have a risen Savior
As we come here today to celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. It is crucial for us to know; have a deep revelation that we are the only faith that serves a RISEN Savior, GOD, and KING.
This revelation is so vital because it is the foundation our faith.
1 Corinthians 15:19 (KJV 1900)
19 If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men most miserable.
We must a clear understanding why Christ had to die and raise again.
1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; 2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. 3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; 4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
There were many infallible proof and many witnesses .
3 To whom also he shewed himself alive after his passion by many infallible proofs, being seen of them forty days, and speaking of the things pertaining to the kingdom of God:
5 And that he was seen of Cephas, then of the twelve: 6 After that, he was seen of above five hundred brethren at once; of whom the greater part remain unto this present, but some are fallen asleep. 7 After that, he was seen of James; then of all the apostles. 8 And last of all he was seen of me also, as of one born out of due time.
The were prophesies …and Jesus foretold of death and resurrection.
31 And he began to teach them, that the Son of man must suffer many things, and be rejected of the elders, and of the chief priests, and scribes, and be killed, and after three days rise again.
21 From that time forth began Jesus to shew unto his disciples, how that he must go unto Jerusalem, and suffer many things of the elders and chief priests and scribes, and be killed, and be raised again the third day.
27 But I tell you of a truth, there be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the kingdom of God.
Despite of the proofs,prophesies, and WORDS of Jesus the disciples still did not have a clear revelation of Jesus mission, purpose and promise.
They still went to look for the risen Savior amon the DEAD.
Why seek the LIVING the God among the dead?
Today the scripture admonishes, instructs us .
To seek first the Kingdom of God.
That means seek first to live a life that HONORS God.
That means seek to Please God .
Jesus suffer and endured the cross that we might be saved, set free from the cares in this world. That we will bring Him joy by not becoming entangled.
2 Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith; who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is set down at the right hand of the throne of God.
Just like the early disciples our generation NEEDS a clear REVELATION, NEED OUR OPEN to repent from our dead and rise up
It time to be like our saviour and get up from the death works. because the sting of death has been defeated.
11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
Crucifixion was shameful and painful.
Let Get Up my brother and sister and not put Christ through a public disgrace again.
6 If they shall fall away, to renew them again unto repentance; seeing they crucify to themselves the Son of God afresh, and put him to an open shame.
Lets please God by repenting, rededicating and recommitting .
No matter how many times, how far you fell God will pick you if you com to him.
16 For a just man falleth seven times, and riseth up again: But the wicked shall fall into mischief.
It time to get up because you have the Spirit of God to help you.
If Christ is risen in you GET UP!
Colossians 3:1–10 (KJV 1900)
1 If ye then be risen with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ sitteth on the right hand of God. 2 Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth.
Get up and be more in love with pleasing God that pleasing the self, the world
3 For ye are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God. 4 When Christ, who is our life, shall appear, then shall ye also appear with him in glory. 5 Mortify therefore your members which are upon the earth; fornication, uncleanness, inordinate affection, evil concupiscence, and covetousness, which is idolatry: 6 For which things’ sake the wrath of God cometh on the children of disobedience: 7 In the which ye also walked some time, when ye lived in them. 8 But now ye also put off all these; anger, wrath, malice, blasphemy, filthy communication out of your mouth. 9 Lie not one to another, seeing that ye have put off the old man with his deeds;
Get up and Allow to Holy Spirit help to death the things of the flesh
10 And have put on the new man, which is renewed in knowledge after the image of him that created him:
Get up and be clothed in Image
Get up and fulfill your God given purpose and destiny
Get up and quit wasting your life
Get up and experience true love, grace, mercy, and peace.
Get up and be freed from the cares of this world.
Get up be made whole spirit, soul, and body.
Get up and defeat the enemy of your soul that comes to kill, steal, and destroy.
Get up and experience life and life more abundantly
Get up and serve and only the one that able to keep you from falling.
Get up and honor the One that is able to present you faultless before His presence.
Get up and praise Him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we can ask or think according to the power that works in us.
Get up and repent our sins, serve, love, follow and honor the on that can give us the Kingdom.
