God’s 5 Missions For Moms
He gives the barren woman a home, making her the joyous mother of children. Praise the Lord! Psalms 113:9
11 Let a woman learn in silence with full submission.12 I permit no woman to teach or to have authority over a man; she is to keep silent. 13 For Adam was formed first, then Eve; 14 and Adam was not deceived, but the woman was deceived and became a transgressor. 15 Yet she will be saved through childbearing, provided they continue in faith and love and holiness, with modesty. 1 Timothy 2:11-15
God’s 5 Missions For Moms
Mission 1 – You are to [LIVE OUT] An [EXAMPLE] of Faith for your Children.
5 I am reminded of your sincere faith, a faith that lived first in your grandmother Lois and your mother Eunice and now, I am sure, lives in you. 6 For this reason I remind you to rekindle the gift of God that is within you through the laying on of my hands; 7 for God did not give us a spirit of cowardice, but rather a spirit of power and of love and of self-discipline. 2 Timothy 1:5-7
Mission 2 – You are to [LAUNCH] Your Children Into [BIBLICAL PRINCIPLES].
12 Indeed, all who want to live a godly life in Christ Jesus will be persecuted. 13 But wicked people and impostors will go from bad to worse, deceiving others and being deceived. 14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it. 2 Timothy 3:12-14
Mission 3 – You are to [LEAD] Your Children To [JESUS CHRIST].
14 But as for you, continue in what you have learned and firmly believed, knowing from whom you learned it, 15 and how from childhood you have known the sacred writings that are able to instruct you for salvation through faith in Christ Jesus. 2 Timothy 3:14-15
Mission 4 – You are to [LEAVE] Your Children a [BIBLICAL LEGACY].
16 All scripture is inspired by God and is useful for teaching, for reproof, for correction, and for training in righteousness, 17 so that everyone who belongs to God may be proficient, equipped for every good work. 2 Timothy 3:16-17
Mission 5 – You are To [LIFT UP] Other Mothers into [GOD’S MISSIONS].
3 Likewise, tell the older women to be reverent in behavior, not to be slanderers or slaves to drink; they are to teach what is good, 4 so that they may encourage the young women to love their husbands, to love their children, 5 to be self-controlled, chaste, good managers of the household, kind, being submissive to their husbands, so that the word of God may not be discredited. Titus 2:3-5
