God’s Indescribable Gift

“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. John 3:16

Thanks be to God for his indescribable gift!

2 Corinthians 9:15

God’s gift to Me is indescribable

·         Because of Jesus’ [Presence]

21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.” 22All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had said through the prophet: 23“The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and they will call him Immanuel”—which means, “God with us.” Matthew 1:21-23

·         Because of Jesus’ [divine nature].

6For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. Isaiah 9:6

·         Because of Jesus’ [eternal power].

7Of the increase of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever. The zeal of the Lord Almighty will accomplish this. Isaiah 9:7

·         Because of Jesus’ [glorious rest].

10In that day the Root of Jesse will stand as a banner for the peoples; the nations will rally to him, and his place of rest will be glorious. Isaiah 11:10

God’s gift of jesus Means I Can Have

[indescribable Joy]

8Though you have not seen him, you love him; and even though you do not see him now, you believe in him and are filled with an indescribable and glorious joy. 1 Peter 1:8
