Unwrapping God’s Gift This Christmas

6While they were there,

the time came for the baby to be born,

7and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son.

She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger,

because there was no room for them in the inn. Luke 2:6-7

This Christmas Season Did I Unwrap……….

·         A Feeling of [consolation] ?

25Now there was a man in Jerusalem called Simeon, who was righteous and devout. He was waiting for the consolation of Israel, and the Holy Spirit was upon him. Luke 2:25

·         A Sense of [amazment] ?

18All who heard it were amazed at what the shepherds said to them.  Luke 2:18

·         A Heart of [generosity] ?

On coming to the house, they saw the child with his mother Mary, and they bowed down and worshiped him. Then they opened their treasures and presented him with gifts of gold and of incense and of myrrh. Matthew 2:11

·         A Just [mind] ?

Because Joseph her husband was a just man and did not want to expose her to public disgrace, he had in mind to divorce her quietly. Matthew 1:19

·         A Submissive [will] ?

“I am the Lord’s servant,” Mary answered. “May it be to me as you have said.” Then the angel left her. Luke 1:38
