a lot of sin is going outside the boundaries that God has set

Adam/Eve

could eat fruit, not just that fruit

example of Greed/Lust

you can have things, not just everything - natural to want things to live, survive, enjoy

greed and lust go beyond that - want everything, more than you could every use

example of sex

you can have sex, but not with just anybody - natural to have sexual drive

adultery, fornication, homosexual acts - go beyond that, want

overeating

you can eat, but not too much

Sin has an element of not trusting God

not trusting God that these things are bad for you

murder - not trusting God for justice

greed - not trusting God

stealing - not trusting God to provide
